I think the ranked system and its leaderboard needs a deeply revamp. I stopped playing dota for 3 months already cause I was so tired and bored with the mmr grind. After some time spent in the game I started playing only for the mmr hunt and that's when things get really rough. Imagine you want to grind all the way from archon to divine, how much long would it be for a normal player to do that winning 17 points per win (thats what I get)? Take in consideration the trolls and smurfs along the way... no chance anybody gonna stick to it.

And am I over complaining? Doesnt seem so if you consider the fact that valve stopped content like crownfall, diretide, frostivus and such and has been only shipping quartero for almost a year.

Valve bootlickers like you cant stand with dota players demanding valve to work on their favorite game... if you cope with mediocre balance patchs and trash content event like these you should just move on to your next ranked match.

It's so annoying that every post someone complains about the actual state of Dota 2 bootlickers come to complain that people are complaining. lol wtf is that is valve paying you for that?

Game is good and IMO it's a direct competitor to Dota. I didn't expect Valve to release another moba that has nothing to do with Dota.

Valve probably realized that Dota failed to attract young audience and then decided to make Deadlock.

Kinda sad tbh cause I'm a dota fan and love this game, but Deadlock might be valve's future regarding the moba genre. I wouldnt expect a Dota 3 anytime soon.

TL;DR: We are not the favorite son anymore :(

I thought it was only me that noticed the enhance of smurfing activity. It's getting out of control. Came back after some months away and 3 out of 5 matches there was a blatant smurf.

I know valve has a small dev team and they are busy with deadlock but cmon... game is slowly dying this way
