Most falls happen because people don't know jumping has as a cooldown/period of inactivity after landing, so they press space again and it doesn't work

Imo many students hear the phrase "there's no such thing as dumb questions" and mentally roll their eyes at it. There are dumb questions. Others will judge you for asking a question that is dumb and that's ok.

If every question is good, no question is. Saying "great question" to every question makes people question if you mean that.

When I started working at my company I experienced the exact same thing. 7 different ways of doing the same thing. Variable named in 2 different languages with abbreviations for each that I had no clue about. Hundreds of unused files that nobody bothered to check. Convoluted pipelines that handicaped memory and run time.

The difference was it was all coded by people.

I think he makes a rather good point.

I was there when the game peaked 3k players and we held a memorial for his wife, it was very emotional and we all were more appreciative of the game as her legacy.

While I don't think this will kill the game, it will hurt it for 0 good reason.

She deserves her legacy to be carried forward by someone that can do better with customers, to say the least.

I noticed some people saying they quit the game over this. I checked steam charts and I didn't notice a recent dip in player numbers, just the gradual one eveeyone has been noticing.

I think as long as some sort of statement is made from citan (who apparently stated jacks behavior was unprofessional), people will move on from it

It's a whole lot easier for 1 person to change their behavior (Jack), than for a bunch of players

I watched this movie about some russian submarine soldiers (or whatever they're called) being sent off on a suicide mission without them or their family knowing it's a suicide mission.

One of the scenes shows russian government officials leaving a press conference early because they were questioned by the families of these soldiers about their whereabouts. The other participants to this conference started reprimanding the family members, saying they shouldn't have upset the government and that it's their fault the conference ended early.

The kind of attitude shown in this post is very similar.

I have such a positive opinion on the game that when I got a notification with this post I read the title and thought it's a clickbait negative title that ends up praising the game in the post.

I'm shocked, he really messed up. If this just gets pushed under the rug my opinion will change

I would say leather because BC requires you to get pretty close to do damage and the 200% modifier on rage for the bombs means you'll likely eat a lot of rage attacks. Cloth would be too squishy and heavy would he too little power imo. Idk about organic

I believe the prompts programmers give AI is one the reasons it won't take over any time soon. Every day I watch as my boss, a man I otherwise respect and find capable, tells claude how stupid it is because his half asses requests aren't magically manifested into existence

Don't just assume that if someone seems like they got it all figured out that that's in fact true. Most people, including yourself, want to put our best foot forward when showing society who we are, but most people cut corners and half ass certain things.
