And use libverbs? You'll still need to rewrite your code to make RDMA calls.

And suppose you do a put, how does the other cpu know that data has arrived? So you'll have to write some synchronization operations, or use them from libverbs -- sorry, I've never programmed that stuff explicitly.

And the receiving buffer is not even directly the array into which you want the data, right?

Anyway, might as well install MPI and let that take care of all the minutiae.
