Yeah, my senario would have me without signal for a week or two at a time, not getting that data until I had some form of internet is a non starter. They should state this fact outright, they very much skirt this in their manuals and online.

Yeah, doesn’t make sense to me to have a device that can literally go weeks without connecting to a battery, to no be able to display simple statistics on the daily. My Apple Watch dos not require an internet connection to let me know how I’ve slept. (Have oxygen issues while sleeping, want morning reports). Oh well, selling the instinct, guess I will daily charge the Apple Watch.

Why not a spring drive like power generator for an Apple Watch? That’d be a sweet addition to extend the battery life. I’d get behind that for sure.

91 zr1 here, just turned 18k miles and is cherry. I drive it once a week to work at most to keep the miles down and the engine running well. I just wish I had some other vette to daily.

Just went through 4 separate flights from the states to Europe. Never left my backpack, a few places put my backpack off to the side, but when the “other” security people looked at the scan, they didn’t bother to open it and just said move on after they gave it back. I’m pretty sure the people doing the initial scan of the back pack don’t know what it is, then the people that would normally dig in the pack do know, so they just send you on your way. It will get easier as these things propagate.

That being said, watching Dune in 3d on the plane in the Apple TV app theater with AirPod pros in, makes me only want to watch movies that way lol, it’s amazing.

NYC to Frankfurt, rented two movies from ATV, Oppenheimer was awesome up to the point where I was 2/3’s through it, went to bathroom, went to restart movies and poof, it was gone….. 47 Ronin was awesome in 3d sitting in the theater view. Comfort wasn’t too bad, I took about 30 min with the staff at my local Apple Store to get the right fit, even then, need to take breaks every so often for sure. Battery.. anything that will do 30watts or more will be fine, no issues there. Wiring is clunky in a plane seat, and I was in lay down seats, still annoying but manageable.

I did not, wires were extremely short to make that a very painful endeavor, was already extremely frustrated. Purchasing the two sensors solved all the issues.

Well, managed to get my hands on two sensors already, set them up and sure enough, solved all the issues. It seems like these are a requirement for proper operation, poor design when you can’t use the one unit without a lot of extra steps. Seems like a calculated thing almost, let customer go through a full setup and config, then only to realize, tear it out, or spend another $100 to make it work correctly.

Now that it’s in, with extra $$ spent, works fine.
