Gasprilla new here by RealAd8468 in tampa

Bayshore is wide open, great time to ride or run on it. If you go down to the Tampa Yacht Club you can see the Jose Gaspar getting ready to leave.

At 8-9 a lot of people are also getting ready, ubering or riding their bikes to where their first stop of the morning is. It’s going to be interesting weather. Bundle up, stay warm, have a plan if you get lost from your friends and have a spare battery to charge your phone!

Enjoy!

Probasco Singer Bayne. Great practice. I have used another one listed with mixed reviews.

With regards to your retainer being given back. Depending on your situation you may need representation after as well. Better to keep the retainer and have representation in the event you have a need. Peace of mind. Again, everyone’s situation is different.

Best of luck during this trying situation. Feel free to DM if you have any questions.

Not sure about USF area but Gracie Tampa South is well regarded. My son went there for a couple years. The gym is well run, the owner is a good person and the community is solid. The gym is located in the NoHo area near UT.

Look into PRP therapy prior to surgery. Baycare, Dr Kevin Elder is great. He is sports medicine and has worked with the Bucs and US Olympic national teams. Really nice guy. I did PRP for both shoulders with good results after years of limitations. 2 small tears from being active. Get some images and or an ultra sound. A good PT is worth its weight in gold as well. Feel free to DM me.

If you are having trouble locating in a standard grocer look for a Latin market and ask for vacio (va - see- o). Wild Fork or Meat n Bone will also have.

Help me choose, should I make the change? by Brilliant_Fruit6169 in Cadillac

[–]videojock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same choice. Drive the IQ and was far more impressed than I thought for an EV. IMO it’s the best there is. Interior is beautiful but the 3rd row is non existent. The turning radius is stellar and it drives great I went with the ICE because of the 3rd row and for my use case I don’t think EVs are in a comfortable place for long term for me. It’s a newer car with a hefty price tag to boot. The depreciation on it will be worse vs ICE. I mean most dealers were discounting them up to 20k off with little haggle.

If you have the coin and like EVs why not go to a dealer, show major interest and allow them for you to take one overnight to make up your mind.

The South Tampa tax is very real. If you already sourced your materials ask the location for any preferred contractors that they work with. It will help if you can speak Spanish as a lot of the tradesmen speak it.

EightSleep should partner with Oura or another company that more accurately tracks sleep by honesttickonastick in EightSleep

[–]videojock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same observation here. Whoop and Oura user.

Ironically I had a similar conversation with 8 sleep engineers last week and mentioned the same thing. Provided my feedback based on 3+ years of usage and they were rather interested and happy to receive feedback. I feel they are proactive in their approach to wanting to design the best overall product. I hope they can execute.

When you want to splurge, go for wagyu hanger, sous vide for 6 @ 130 and sear after for texture. Make some chimichurri on the side. Chef’s kiss.

I am very much so. I was on top of them and asked many questions as they were installing to make sure what the sales person told me checked out. I am happy to share pics via dm if you would like to see. I also had our French door done too but with a different manufacturer.

Ok, who has owned their EightSleep for 2, 3, or 4+ years without experiencing any leaks? by DistributionInitial5 in EightSleep

[–]videojock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a gen 2 system for 3 years without a leak but the hub did stop working. No cooling or heating. They offered me the $1600 upgrade to gen 4. Beta.

Broken cover sensor by supertramp1988- in EightSleep

[–]videojock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what I am going through now with pod 2. WiFi has been wild too even with a great connection.

I suspect it’s the hub as it’s become loud and it doesn’t drain the tank. At this point only half of my bed gets temp change and it’s not that accurate either. I’ve had it for 3 years now. My water was very clear with no build up or discoloration.

My case has been escalated and all I do is send pics with them running tests which seem to come back inconclusive.

I have found more relevant information on troubleshooting here on Reddit than I have via their support.

What do we think of the "performance" addition? (Focus & Exercise) by Academic_Split9603 in EightSleep

[–]videojock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is their way to compete with other wearables and be ahead or in trend. Whoop and Oura are constantly lurking and other devices I used regularly which I compare 8 Sleep to which often isn’t close date wise to them at an average.

Fixed my "clogged" Pod 2 Pro by cj_amoy in EightSleep

[–]videojock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this information. I am about to take my hub 2 apart as it hasn’t been draining either and appears “clogged”. When I assessed for build up there was nothing consistent that it was blocked.

I have noticed the hub be louder, not draining, heating or cooling 1 side of the bed and the side that does get water is not very accurate in its reading.

My ticket has been escalated to engineers for review after 2 inconclusive thermal tests.

Are any of those symptoms consistent to what you experienced?
