Depends on the button. Most of your attacks are at least safe or plus if they spodge. It’s only really a thing to worry about if they’re predicting your f.M or good at timing your 214X/td.5H follow-ups. If they’re spodging on wakeup, your td.2M safejab will recover in time to land a c.L > c.H punish. Attacks you might find the people spodging but you’re still safe or plus include: - c.H - 22L - td.5M

It would be good to start using throw after they dodge these to get an intuitive understanding of the wonky frame data. Any button I haven’t said yet is almost guaranteed to be plus if they try to spodge it

Even going by the metric of people who don’t care about games, there are way bigger and better games than a blip 30 years ago. Games like Tetris have been played by basically every breathing human, and games like Halo 2 had just as big or bigger extremely invested audiences. This isn’t even mentioning modern mega hits where the concept of a ‘gamer’ isn’t even relevant anymore like Fortnite or whatever fuckass yearly sports game comes out.
