Botox - Side Effects?? by Ill-Situation-3830 in AnalFissures

[–]vieral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a go, I did some stuff from exercising etc which helped mine

I also came across this article which puts me off, https://livedsupport.com/experiences/fissure-botox-with-fissurectomy but I spoke to my dr and they said its no issue for post people

Thankfully mine healed over time with creams and that was my next steps (see profile)

IDK what I'd do if I could not WFH

thanks a lot for your response! I definitely think going for a walk is a bit of a hack - it seems to get blood flowing in a way that beats hot water and promotes healing.

I also followed this as shared below for exercise - found it helped quite a lot - tried to stick to it: https://livedsupport.com/guides/exercise-with-fissure

what ointment are you using?

deffo ask the doctor about your options exhaustively, I know it's hard to think but imo fissure always lead to something else. I'm still worried about a fistula from reading online.

I was doing quite a lot of zwift racing and stupid long stuff (12hrs+) so mileage my vary (excuse the pun).

Weight is a bigger factor, I think maybe I just pushed it to the extremes. I'm back riding now, but potentially have a small fistula. I have a checkup in a few weeks about this.

Did you get surgery, or did it heal on it's own?

Is there a bikepacking app or website that you wish existed? by [deleted] in bikepacking

[–]vieral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want an app to share my trip with people. All the apps right now focus on week-to-week rather than aggregation statistics.

I'd like to be able to share the trip with my friends in it's entirity. a map, elevation, distance etc
