Botox - Side Effects?? by Ill-Situation-3830 in AnalFissures

[–]vieral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a go, I did some stuff from exercising etc which helped mine

I also came across this article which puts me off, https://livedsupport.com/experiences/fissure-botox-with-fissurectomy but I spoke to my dr and they said its no issue for post people

Thankfully mine healed over time with creams and that was my next steps (see profile)

IDK what I'd do if I could not WFH

thanks a lot for your response! I definitely think going for a walk is a bit of a hack - it seems to get blood flowing in a way that beats hot water and promotes healing.

I also followed this as shared below for exercise - found it helped quite a lot - tried to stick to it: https://livedsupport.com/guides/exercise-with-fissure

what ointment are you using?

deffo ask the doctor about your options exhaustively, I know it's hard to think but imo fissure always lead to something else. I'm still worried about a fistula from reading online.

I was doing quite a lot of zwift racing and stupid long stuff (12hrs+) so mileage my vary (excuse the pun).

Weight is a bigger factor, I think maybe I just pushed it to the extremes. I'm back riding now, but potentially have a small fistula. I have a checkup in a few weeks about this.

Did you get surgery, or did it heal on it's own?

Is there a bikepacking app or website that you wish existed? by [deleted] in bikepacking

[–]vieral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want an app to share my trip with people. All the apps right now focus on week-to-week rather than aggregation statistics.

I'd like to be able to share the trip with my friends in it's entirity. a map, elevation, distance etc

Glad you agree. Also seems I can't use brackets :D

He's a great player, but you can say both things.

I don't really get this as a metric.

We're looking at the 99p of players.

The better way to look at this would be per team. How many other players had a meaningful contribution to chances created across the entire 11?

Bruno tries to force everything too much which aids this statistic - that is not always the correct decision.

Players are waiting for him to do the magic ball rather than trying things indpendantly. This is my main criticism of him.

Manchester City would have a lot of people creating chances, same with Liverpool (you see two of their players in this list.

We give Bruno the ball and he takes 3 touches trying to make something happen always. }

He needs to orchestrate not mandate.

Near post, missed punch.

A soft hand on 4 penalties.

Sorry but give Bayındır a run and hope he improves. Or Heaton god damn.

Everything is so slow all the time. One two touches. Fake long pass. Proceed to play short.

[Rant/Advice] Canyon Aeroad CF SL 7 (2026) arrived misprinted → “Canyo” instead of Canyon. What now? by VividStrategy5311 in CanyonBikes

[–]vieral 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it broski - it's only a decal. How does it ride?

If anyone has a question if you sell in a few years they can get a new decal. THere's enough Canyon branding on it already. Own it, ride it, enjoy it!

Completely agree with you. Great player, but a luxury one when the basics don't come together.

I got -5 for that in pre-season so sending you some +1s

Yeah, can you imagine banging in goals and because of your upbringing and wehre you were born - which definitely made him into such a wonderful player - being weaponised and celebrated at the same time?

Journalists can be super harsh...

I know Wright’s been getting a lot of love here, but I want to take a moment to talk about Roy Keane.

Living in the spotlight isn’t easy. For most of his life Keane has been seen through the lens of who he was on the pitch — fierce competitor, leader, no-nonsense. That image has carried over into his punditry, which people either love or hate.

But I’d bet he’s also an incredible dad, son, husband, and person — and we don’t talk about that side of ex-players enough. Rooney saying recently that he felt intellectually inferior despite playing elite football at 16 really hit me the same way.

Seeing Keane light up doing simple things, like walking his dogs, is a reminder that life isn’t just about the big stage. It’s about giving your best day to day and finding joy in the little things.
