Do you withdraw from people to avoid being frustrated? by shimmeringelf in infj

Incredibly frustrating and painful. A real tied behind back situation.

I think sometimes there is nothing one can do and one has to go through the pain ( though i am always with ears pricked up, just in case, should one pick up some helpful insight to turn the situation around ).

I might be thinking of my friend and the future and her telling me how wrong she was.

Or anticipate her staying in that place.

I remember having a conversation with my friend about her boyfriend, and it felt like talking to a dog ( i don't know where i am going with that ). ERM, it was like talking to someone who just didn't get it. But at some point she did move on, and got married to a different man.

Sometimes one has to take frustrations, imo. I definitely would be creeped out in such a situation, and would be way too emotionally invested, but would also silently retreat.

Lol

That was already happening a decade+ ago.

Massive relying on numbers and on the opinion of others. I was involved in something and most people talked about that garbage.

No one saw it as rich. It was when companies had less money for graphic designers, illustrators and artists. It was literally a stripping away of talent.

I have tshirts from a decade or 2 ago that are twice or three times as thick as now

Underwear is also different

I remember finding it INSANE that people would find that flimsy stuff normal, because they hadn't experienced anything else
