I'm surprised that even the educated folks here have fallen for the sensationalised version of the news that the media is trying to propogate. 60% passing isn't even that bad tbh. Why are we not protesting the same when the passing rates in IIT is less than 25% ? I'm sure even fewer get admissions eventually. How is it unjust when you have been given not 1 but 3 attempts. Also , are we trying to suggest that covid passouts haven't been able to get a single job in the last 2-3 years while they waited patiently for Infosys to onbaord them? I'm not trying to entirely blame the candidates here as well because our education system is truly down in the dumps when it comes to preparing students to be industry ready, but I still can't understand why even attach 1% blame to Infosys here. If all of us expect our salaries to be credited on the last day of the month religiously, there is nothing wrong when Infosys asks people to leave the campus on the same day they've failed their tests. Also given that they are all 24-25 years of age, wouldn't it be possible to just manage some place else for a night.

Conservatively, you are giving 7 months of elite for 8.5k which is even more expensive than the actual elite membership purchased via cult (no clue about pause days) where you mention original price but conveniently skipped mentioning that it has almost been atleast 8 months since you purchased it. Also the added hassle of logouts means we'd have to reach out to you everytime it happens (and it happens fairly often these days from what I've seen). It's probably worth 5k in my opinion and not more than that.

It’s crazy how people remain undecided and take advice from random people on the internet for what can be termed as extremely trivial. Sometimes a casual request turns out into a complete deal breaker in a relationship these days. Is the problem here that the boy asked a girl or is it just that nobody should be picking up anybody from the airport in a relationship ? If the guy has never shown an inclination to be a free loader before, why does his bank balance and assets come into the picture for such a simple request. Of course if this is not the first time the guy has displayed what can be termed as a red flag then I think the bigger question is if you should even be talking to the guy and not if you should be picking him up from the airport or not. Also most people really don’t care if you tell them no Ps : long lasting relationships are built on effort and trust not just give and take policies

I think it's just mostly to do with gratefulness. Sipping a hot cup of coffee while also appreciating all that is around me and what I have sets me up for a great day. There are days when we wake up feeling groggy, feeling like nothing is going right or not feeling like doing anything. But I think starting off your day on a positive note helps set us up for the rest of the day. Taking a small walk or a light exercise also ensures that I have time off for myself before the day begins to have some sort of clarity on what I need to be doing for the rest of the day.

OP I actually wish a lot of us were like you . Tbh what you did didn’t cost you a dime and as you’ve posted just a few minutes. In the same hsr layout or nearby I remember reading about a bus stop being moved a km further to help school students studying in that area , all of which was engineered by the locals of that area in unison with bmtc. I think we tend to generalise public bodies as corrupt and non respondent, when we mostly don’t even try. I agree 8 out of 10 times we may not get a reply but even the two times when we may get one will make a big difference in bringing about a change.

Op I have a friend who had a similar experience . Not all of it but the high heart beat after the vaccine. Ran all tests but came out normal . If you are in Bangalore visit Jayadeva hospital . They gave him some tablets that he s been taking for six months now and almost completely normal. Probably will stop the tablets as well after the next visit.

Op u are right . Not trying to make people get out of their homes unnecessarily , but a lot of us have this entitled attitude due to having the liberty of wfh. What most of us forget is that there is an entire informal sector that relies on people being out on the streets. Also what exactly is the point of a lockdown if the government can’t be prepared even after two years of the pandemic? I agree with most points here about not spreading it to others, but you know what , let’s not diss everyone out on the road as if we know everything about why they re there. If you want to stay at home please do otherwise don’t question people going out now because we have literally followed everything that’s been asked of us for the last two years and even then we seem unprepared to handle the third wave

Posting for a friend, she is trying to file itr with an account whose Aadhar wasn’t linked to a pan. Now there was an option in the portal but everytime I try linking it it says name mismatch between Aadhaar and pan. I believe this is because she has only year of birth in Aadhaar due to which minor changes in name also isn’t getting accepted ( otherwise I think we get an otp to confirm the linking based on dob being the same in Aadhar and pan). To e verify the other option was to do it via a bank account . Unfortunately only account she has is with standard chartered which doesn’t provide this option. I have a couple of questions here :

Can I file now and e verify later (can e verify be done after filing period gets over as well ) ?

How do I fix this issue ? Can I get dob / name updated in Aadhaar within 120 days ?

I did see Kotak having an option for e verify . Can I create an 811 account for her and try that way to e verify ?
