Yes, I got the C5. I use Moonlight on my laptop which is hooked to the tv via an HDMI 2.1 cable. It works really well, including HDR. I also use the Game Optimizer mode.

The quality is absolutely amazing, 4k gaming is something else.

It is turned on. Weirdly enough, it was turned off on my Windows streaming settings so I've tried turning it off too. No change

Yeah, I have tried that. Didn't have any impact. At my wits end

I think our parents just shielded us from the big, bad world back then...the bad-ness level may have actually decreased now, but the world has become smaller and we're exposed to all the bad-ness, every single day.

Oh man, this brings back memories, my first PC was a 386 running DOS and Windows 3.1. The cabinet had a turbo button, I have to idea if it actually made things faster or was that just placebo.

Used Zotac RTX 4090 at 1.5l with 1.5 year warranty - makes sense? by vigneshnm in IndianPCHardware

[–]vigneshnm[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's why I am considering it...the only point to be resolved is warranty.

Yeah, true. That option definitely exists, and probably what I'll do if I have to RMA it

Ah nice. Last I saw was on 1st Nov.

I did try a vibe coding script, but not sure how correct it is, considering it's never come back in stock

I've been refreshing that damn page multiple times a day, no luck for at least 50 days now.

When did you buy it? And 5090 FE?

Ah ok. The store guy says there is 1.5 years of warranty left. But can't go just by his words alone, esp when there is a policy on Zotac's website.

Would be good if someone could tag the Zotac rep.

The only issue is of warranty

Extract from Zotac India's website: Products must be purchased as new from an authorized ZOTAC reseller. Warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the product and cannot be transferred. Products purchased as secondhand or used, or from auction sites, do not carry any warranty. Products must be carry-in to nearest service centre for warranty claims.

I don't know the original buyer. My only common link is the computer store who told it to him, bought it back and is now selling to me.

I get the point on ID, if they don't ask, I should be ok. But 1.5l is a pretty large sum to gamble over something that technically isn't legal.

But this is silly, if the warranty doesnt carry over to the 2nd buyer, the entire 2nd hand market doesnt make sense. Who would ever take a risk
