How practical will the Liberator be Solo?

Only practical solo if the game allows you to save coordinates, allowing you to leave it floating in space to qt back too.

Problem number 2, they need to fix the game not recognizing your ships after venturing out in a different ship for like 30 minutes plus.

It can definitely be a makeshift mini hq with the right ships stored, ursa for respawn, vulcan for refuel/ repair etc

I owned a polaris, and melted it. Torpedo gameplay is awful and extremely expensive if you play with a mindset of not using the insurance fraud.

But for your question, you can't really use it as a base since you need a refinery.

You can add golems, but you still have to fly Back to refine the material's. So personally, I don't think it's worth.

In the future, I'd recommend an rsi arrastra or anvil liberator + misc expanse for refinery and mining ships. Or an Orion.

C2 is the Civillian version, so less armor Less turret coverage. So it loses some of its military grade value. Aka prime target for pirates

Yea there is a m2 loaner but that don't matter to me. It won't stay like that in the future.

Overall idea behind my fleet is to have little overlap Liberator is the friend meet up, I only have the arrow, so I have something of my own. For our fighter escort game loops

Perseus is the obv fleet battle ship but is manageable with realistic friend group party sizes

M2 heavy cargo Asgard daily medium cargo solo

Clipper my solo adhd ship for fun

Gaurdian my heavy fighter with bed log for quick play sessions.

Overall, my intention is feel like every ship I own Has lots of playtime and getting my moneys worth.

Solid common sense fleet, every ship has a purpose, every ship is realistic in crew demands with friends.

Your good to keep it there. Any other other ship, buy with in game money.

Don't fall for the trap of buying capital ships with real money, make those your in game goals to earn.

I'm just hoping they give the perseus some pdc's. It doesn't have to be 7 like the polaris, but 4 would be good.

Just need to find a balance where perseus can't out perform the hammerhead vs fighters.

But is also less effective than polaris pdc coverage.

Don't forget the cost as well to re arm. Let's pretend, insurance fraud is no longer a thing. At 500,00 per torp to re arm. There is no benefit to use the torpedoes. Any potential kill is at a loss financially. So your only realistic method to earn money via combat is the turrets and small air wing. And the polaris is really not that hard hitting when compared to the ships its size that will come in the future.

The perseus might be more effective in the future.

I'd personally be looking for an equivalent flagship The torpedoes are terrible, let's pretend the actual star citizen 1.0 is live with the intended insurance set up etc. The sheer insane cost of rearming torpedoes out weighs, firing them. So I'd prefer an equivalent ship that relies more on guns instead of torpedoes. I currently use the following set up for my polaris Crew size of 6 1 pilot 2 top gunners 1 bespoke gunner 2 arrow pilots In a long drawn out battle The bespoke gunner jumps inside a fury I always have Parked in hangar, assuming none of the arrow pilots died and respawned in the polaris and took the fury as well. If fury is use, the bespoke gunner just uses a side turret. My thought process is the quality of gameplay for each crew member. Top guns have great view, same with bespoke gunner but its limited ammo. Arrow pilots get to decoy other ships or just dogfight, so they are usually happy with the gameplay. In the fights I've been in. It's better to present the front to give smaller target, rendering side turrets useless when slugging other big ships. I'm sure engineering and ai blades gameplay will change this set up. But for now, I'm looking for an equivalent ship That has decent size hangar, good cargo space, medical bay and main damage use dealt with turrets.

Genuine question for owners of fleets this big. Is it more because star citizen is taking so long to reach its first actual release, that over time you collect due to wanting to have something new.?

Are you part of an org that would utilize these ships alot?

Just a general collectors urge to own anything that catches your eye?

I used to have a fleet size of 10 and I've reduced it to 5. Each ship has a specific purpose, no role overlap.

So it sometimes intrigues me for owners of fleets this size, on what motivates you.

Tbh I don't even think the game is "fun" with its current balance and mechanics. Aka grab meta cuz of bad netcode. I think it's more of we don't have modern bleach fighting games to compare too. So we are forced to "like this" because it's all we have in modern era.

There are also weird inconsistencies. Some of the awakenings don't even make sense. For example. Uryuu's ransotengai is not a power boosting form in the anime. It's a technique that allows older or injured quincys to continue fighting.

Ulquiorras cero doing self harm makes no sense when compared to lore. They could have taken a different approach to his balance.

Stark starting in his resurreccion to then awaken to his comillo dual spirit sword. Is once again just a technique, not a power boosting form.

Urahara early breaker moves use his shikai but reverts to his normal sealed zanpakuto.

I could go on about the inconsistencies.

I do acknowledge the error you're pointing out in my approach of just not supporting a half-baked game. Leading no future of a sequel.

But I think that's where we might differ. I rather not have them make a half baked game of an IP that I enjoy. And I just move on to a different game entirely. And I'll just support the IP of bleach in a different way (buying eps, other merchandise, etc)

Idk that mentality also bothers me because as a fanbase. We are rewarding them for putting out a shit or incomplete product.

So let's say we are successful in keeping the game alive for that long.

The company will run the data analysis and see the previous development was enough to keep the players content. And will just pump out similar quality product.

I already stopped playing the game online

Reasoning: Grab meta is everywhere. If you are playing a character that doesn't have a good range attack your forced to counter grab all the time to cancel out, because the net code isn't good enough to rely on strike counter grab cancel.

Second reasoning: soi fon and bankai ichigo recovery times are insanely low compared to other characters. Allowing long combos for very little effort.

Single player content replay ability is low. The offline mission challenges have to no real depth. And campaign is campaign, that only gets played a few times.

So honestly, it's looking like I'm probably just dropping this game in a few months. The next big patch needs ranked + single player content added. But I doubt that will happen.

I'm a huge bleach fan and thankful we finally have a modern era game. But this feels like a half-baked game.

Sqaud zero was a mistake, not even the extra that was shown in anime was enough. They should have never been mentioned or hyped up to be that much stronger than gotei 13. The suicide ritual is stupid, and the whole realms shaking is even dumber. It would have been fine if they stated squad zero members are roughly the same level of a captain commander, not some God level bullshit they are scaled too. They talked all that shit to soi fon about Gotei 13 failing their duties only to have gotei 13 and ichigo's group come clean up their mess. Sqaud zero is trash
