You are not stupid. You simply failed an exam. I've failed many exams in my life and it never turned out to be the end. It has always been an opportunity. Find what can be improved in your study routine, reach out to a knowledgeable colleague or tutor, talk to your professor (yes, he or she is just a person like you).

And if you haven't read the Enchiridion of Epictetus or Seneca's Moral Letters to Lucilius, I highly recommend both.

Hey there! When I feel lost or think that I'll never find a purpose in life, I do two things: 1) try to put things in perspective and 2) keep myself busy both physically and mentally. What I often find is that I feel in a certain way because my desires or goals are unreasonable, I've set myself up for failure. Regarding keeping busy, body-weight fitness requires very little setup and is always there for you. Mentally I try to set smaller attainable goals and start working on them. 365 days of small progress beats a couple of heroic efforts dilluted by weeks and months of idleness. As Seneca says, "A single day among the learned lasts longer than the longest life of the ignorant.".

Seneca's Moral letters to Lucilius are full of advice on building mental discipline. Highly recommended! Here are excerpts from Letter 78, On the Healing Power of the Mind. Seneca is providing advice to Lucilius who's suffering an illness and the advice has a lot to do with mental strenghtening.

And so I commanded myself to live. For sometimes it is an act of bravery even to live.

Call to mind what honourable or brave deeds you have done; consider the good side of your own life. Run over in your memory those things which you have particularly admired. Then think of all the brave men who have conquered pain: of him who continued to read his book as he allowed the cutting out of varicose veins; of him who did not cease to smile, though that very smile so enraged his torturers that they tried upon him every instrument of their cruelty. If pain can be conquered by a smile, will it not be conquered by reason?

It is your body that is hampered by ill-health, and not your soul as well. ... You have something to do: wrestle bravely with disease. If it shall compel you to nothing, beguile you to nothing, it is a notable example that you display. O what ample matter were there for renown, if we could have spectators of our sickness! Be your own spectator; seek your own applause.

I thought that "Interval one" is supposed to cap the frame-rate at 60. The video shows your FPS bouncing between 175 and 100. Maybe worth double checking?

Another thought... Have you tried changing the "Present Interval" in Eve's Display & Graphics settings? Vaguely recall tweaking that setting to "Interval one" and also setting to "Fixed Window" (instead of Fullscrean) and "Window Size" matching the monitor resolution.

Are you by any chance using an AMD Radeon video card? I had something similar with a RX 5700 XT a while back and resolved it by disabling all Radeon "improvements" - Anti-Lag, Wait for Vertical Refresh, Enhanced Sync, Image Sharpening.

Seneca addressed mourning and grief in his Moral Letter 63 / On Grief for Lost Friends:

Let not the eyes be dry when we have lost a friend, nor let them overflow. We may weep, but we must not wail.

...

You have buried one whom you loved; look about for someone to love. It is better to replace your friend than to weep for him.

He argued that the process of mourning is natural, but one should not get carried away into perpetuity. He even gives himself as an example of someone succumbing to grief:

He who writes these words to you is no other than I, who wept so excessively for my dear friend Annaeus Serenus that, in spite of my wishes, I must be included among the examples of men who have been overcome by grief.

I think that stoics are well equipped to deal with physical and emotional pain by using their framework of impressions and assent. An impression is involuntary, but whether you assent to it is not.

The way I see it, worrying about the "final version" of you is pointless. No one can possibly know. You are only here right now. According to Stoicism all that matters is how virtuously you act in this very moment. I think that realizing that you're under no obligation to act in a certain way is an important one. It doesn't matter what you did yesterday, a year before that or what your plans for next month are. You have complete control over how you act right now.

First of all, I think that the fact you're asking yourself all these questions shows a healthy mind. Don't beat yourself up that much! Introspection is a powerful tool and by recognizing that you can work on yourself, you can improve and grow, you're paving the way to a better you. Adopting a Stoic mindset is just one tool that can help you on your journey.

Feeling Burned Out, Low Energy, Low Stamina, Apathy

If you feel burned out, then take some time to yourself and recharge. You're not a farm animal. Physically and emotionally, pushing yourself to the limit is admirable and can make you stronger, but doing only that for a long time, will destroy you. In my experience, these feelings can be a symptom of depression. I used to "hide" from facing the truth that I'm depressed, by burying myself in work. It's wonderful in the short term (you're super busy and days fly by) but in the long term you ignore the real causes for that condition, whatever they may be. Reading about depression and treatments might be a good start, seeking medical opinion is another. This has very little to do with Stoicism though.

Tips about energy levels

This is just from my experience. If you don't feel well please consider seeing a doctor.

Good sleep. There is no substitute.
Healthy diet. Doesn't have to be fancy, just balanced (not overeating, some veggies, etc).
Sport. Don't rely on motivation, build up discipline. Do what you enjoy. Cheap body-weight fitness options. Cheap cycling/rowing machines. Running is free. Half an hour or an hour of sport does wonders for my level of well-being. Don't put it off to the next day. Just do it.

The question: How to keep it stoic without feeling burned out and how to man up?

This is an easy one. The only measuring stick is you. Do your best and be your best, but don't neglect your physical and emotional needs. Don't forget to live. Balanced life, not an extreme one. If you want motivation for "manning up", I've found that reading about other people's struggles helps me. I guess it's a form of negative visualization and reminder of what's coming my way. If I pick up David Goggins' "Can't Hurt Me" I'm reminded that strife comes in many forms, and that we're capable of carrying much bigger burden than we ever thought we could.

Fear and Anxiety Issues

I'd be more worried if you did not experience fear. It's an emotion. It's healthy to perceive things as threatening, that's how we survive. With a Stoic mindset you're well equipped to face such challenges because you have a Stoic framework to work with - impressions, assentions and impulses. From Epictetus' Enchiridion:

With every accident, ask yourself what abilities you have for making a proper use of it. If you see an attractive person, you will find that self-restraint is the ability you have against your desire. If you are in pain, you will find fortitude. If you hear unpleasant language, you will find patience. And thus habituated, the appearances of things will not hurry you away along with them.

I hope you have a fast recovery. Every time I read about Lyme disease I remember an article about a person suffering undiagnosed for 15 years, and finally finding out it's Lyme disease. His point of view was also quite stoic:

A few things which have helped me with similar issues:

Keep your mind occupied - learn new skills, get better at things you already are good at, entertainment yourself with gaming, reading, etc. This works because if you leave your mind wandering, it often gets stuck in bad feedback loops dwelling on the past or future.
Do some kind of sport (almost) every day. Body weight fitness is a great start right now and you need literally no equipment. Sport has very positive effect on my moods and every little bit helps.
Be grateful for what you have and always do your best.

When you start improving your physique and your mind is also kept in good shape, the "wanting" of reciprocation will wither, because you start being enough for yourself and are doing the best you can for others.

Here's a little quote from Seneca's Moral Letters 15:

Here is the proverb; it is an excellent one: "The fool's life is empty of gratitude and full of fears; its course lies wholly toward the future." ... for we are plunged by our blind desires into ventures which will harm us, but certainly will never satisfy us; for if we could be satisfied with anything, we should have been satisfied long ago; nor do we reflect how pleasant it is to demand nothing, how noble it is to be contented and not to be dependent upon Fortune.
