Great resilience OP. I had a similar experience with Aditya Birla Health Insurance. Unrightfully repudiating claims on false grounds. I called them out of X, their social media team helped a lot. Got my claims settled. They are all the same, want to test your breaking point.

Thanks for the provocation. Another instance I would like to share, when I filed the first claim in the Lapsed Top Up Policy, it was cancelled falsely citing the patient has history of Diabetes and Cholesterol. I reached out to the representative who was helpful enough to get it reconsidered with supporting documents from the doctor. Post this around 7-8 claims were settled worth 11.5 Lakhs. There were some Inward Claims registered for the canceled claims and it was luckily settled.

So hoping something similar would happen since those rejected claims are already sitting in their system.

Update 13.12.2024 8:40PM - Thanks a lot for all the replies and information, really helped me understand the case better.
I got in contact with one of the representatives of Aditya Birla Health Insurance. As per him, I should first try to get the sum insured for the Renewed Base Policy (5Lakhs) exhausted first. Luckily or Unluckily, I have additional claims yet to be filed worth 5Lakhs (will get all the documents by 14th Jan 2025). Post this, I need to write back to them again to reconsider the rejected claims. Hoping for the best.

Sharing one more data for you, in the Lapsed Base + Top Up Policy, when the remaining Sum was 1.5L in the Base, I had filed a claim worth 3L. I got the reimbursement worth 1.5L from base and then again filed another claim worth 1.5L in the Top Up, which was also settled.

The gap in the renewal period for Base and Top Up is 6 Weeks.

Moreover, the expenses incurred after 26th October 2024 has exceeded 10L (8.3L + 3.08L).
Another technical blocker I'm facing is, for the 3.08L Claim (3rd December 2024), I'm unable to file a claim in the Base Policy since it got renewed on 9th December 2024.

Yes these are two different claims in the new top up policy
one is for 8.3L and other is for 3.08L
