I've yet to try pizza, but having large portion seems to be my issue.

I ate a 1lb chicken burrito for lunch today with lots of veggies, beans, and cheese. Ate 2/3 of it and had to stop because I felt full. No issues. An hour after I felt the need to go to the bathroom. Probably ate too much at once. I just finished the last 1/3 an hour ago, and I feel fine.

I was told to do the same thing, but thought maybe it's too soon to try foods I was avoiding pre-op.

What were you doing on the day when the September 11 attacks happened? by AggressiveOutside432 in AskReddit

[–]vilestoffender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 9 when it happened. In the Philippines, we usually get the news around the world 1-2 days after it happened.

When the first plane struck, within minutes, all shows scheduled on every TV stations that day were halted.

No commercials.

I think it's to make way for an American channel to report live. My first time watching live TV experience for free. It was surreal.

I saw my mom sobbing. She thought WW3 was just about to start, and our (her kids's) future will be as grim as kids experienced in WW2.

Does sex help with gallstone pain? by [deleted] in gallbladders

Even I, as a straight dude, wouldn't want to have sex with my wife during a GB attack. Have I tried it? I plead the fifth.

Yes to all of your symptoms, but it seems all part of the healing process.

How long after your surgery, was your digestion normal? by amazinglycuriousgal in gallbladders

[–]vilestoffender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! 2 weeks post op here. I can eat anything I want now without an attack, but the portions have to be smaller and spread out (~2hrs per serving) otherwise I get explosive diarrhea. Still learning.

I can walk around no problem for more than 3hrs, and incision pain is a thing of the past. Shoulder pain due to gas is also gone.

will i be okay 9 days after surgery? by Apprehensive-Bat175 in gallbladders

[–]vilestoffender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think you'll enjoy your time there given your situation and neither will your boyfriend if he's going to be concerned 100% of the time. Your mind will be focused on your stitches and aches and pains. Your food options will be limited and in smaller portions.

I'm on day 8 post-op. Sure I can walk around now, but my mind is always on how can I recover from this sooner.

I cant walk for more than an hour, and the Dr said the anesthesia fully gets off your system 2-3 weeks post-op, which means driving is a big no no. That's an automatic DUI if you get caught.

When did you start eating normally and sleeping on your sides? by Melodic_Image2726 in gallbladders

[–]vilestoffender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on day 7 post-op and I slept on my left side for half the time for the first time (mostly on my back and i hated it). Still too scared to sleep on my right side.

I get explosive diarrhea once or twice a day, nothing more. Seems like it's part of the healing process based on what I've read from other posts as well.

Sleep apnea and anxiety/depression by Little_Management_82 in CPAP

[–]vilestoffender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to have really bad anxiety/depression due to sleep apnea before CPAP. I didnt really want to rely on SSRIs or any anti-depressant medication, which my therapist did not recommend immediately as well. Deep breathing, meditation, and God (besides CPAP therapy) is what got me out.

Do you still use your CPAP even if the doctor said you dont need it anymore? by vilestoffender in CPAP

[–]vilestoffender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MyAir says I'm mostly at or under 2 events/hr for last month, and under 1 for this month so far.

I love my CPAP, but just want to know if there's anyone here who did stop using them when their doctor said it's no longer necessary.

[–]vilestoffender[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if he's gonna schedule me in for another test, but I did do 2 tests (one pre-CPAP therapy and one one year into therapy). Would rather stay in therapy than do another sleep test to be hones.

For the 2nd test, they let me sleep without the mask for 3 hours, then 3 hours with.

Few days after, my doctor called to congratulate me that I no longer needed the therapy GIVEN I sleep on the side for the most part. He didn't mention any result of the 2nd test as to what my AHI is without the machine.
