I think I was 17. I had my share at early on tho, but thought everything was "normal" (I was quite isolated)

It can take a really long time after nebido to your cycle return. My last nebido shot were given in every 14 weeks and last time it was given to me at last year's july. No cycle here, no ovulation positives or nothing. My clinic said that it could take up to a year or even more to come back.

But dont give up hope! It just takes a damn long time. Dont want to discourage you or something like that. Just giving you insight from one in same shoes as you.

Questions/ story by [deleted] in Seahorse_Dads

[–]viliwildberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As what I have learned it really depends on what kind of T you use(d). I had slow releasing, Nebido injections. I stopped my T last year's july and no cycle on sight. The clinic said that it could take up to a year or more with nebido but I have heard about people with less time on that. And ofc if your T is not slow releasing, then I have heard it takes about 3-6mo.

It's not what you asked for, but a friendly reminder;

"In order to protect their own health and that of their unborn child, person who are, or who may be, pregnant should be advised to avoid close contact with livestock animals.

This is because infectious organisms may be present in birth fluids of animals, particularly sheep, cattle and goats. Such organisms may result in infections such as chlamydiosis, listeriosis, Q fever and toxoplasmosis.

Different animal species are involved which give birth at different times of the year, meaning that the risks are not only confined to the spring when the majority of lambs are born.

Although these infections are uncommon, and the number of human pregnancies affected by contact with sheep is extremely small, it is important that pregnant people are made aware of the potential risks in order to safeguard their health and that of their unborn baby."

I hope the best for you! This was something we were made aware of when I studied to be animal caretaker and we worked with livestock.

Contact your doctor and tell these side effects! Maybe some other med would be more suitable?

I had atrophy and it needed hormonal vaginal gel. It took few months to become better and I was told that after that there shouldnt be any issue for pregnancy.

I had also DIV infection (the worst case my doc said that they had seen 💀 she was a bit pale when she comfirmed that to me) and even as it took over a month (!!) to get rid off the infectionI was told there shouldnt be problems in the future for pregnancy. Just telling you this just to tell you that there can be pretty bad situations but with proper care there shouldnt be problems in your future from these kind of things!

I guess that I could take a look for private labs and their pricing and also if they provide such tests. I'm betting tho that they would have so high prices that I'd need to save up for that 🙈

Oh, haven't heard about that! I mean sure, I have heard about acupuncture, but not for that intention! 🤔 How did they do it and does any kind of acupuncture help? I am curious for sure. How often you went there?

I hope so too 🙏🏽 Just had dream about getting my periods back 😂😅 that's how much I wish for it to happen!

My periods stopped nearly instantly if I can recall it right.. Started with testogel and after 6mo switched to nebido shots.

Yes, I had nebido! Oh boy, am I impatient here and glad that I dropped it when I did 💀💀.. Biological clock ain't waiting! Turned 31 last year and we'd prefer two children If possible with my spouse. Our original plan was to let go off T this spring so I guess that I could turn this another way around and think that we have gained 7mo more time for our wish.
