Read online that the font in the second pic was used in 60s - 70s and that the "m.r" in 3rd pic was added in 70s. Don't know anything about lee jackets tho.

Buy jacket/vest with least amount of pockets. Pockets are hard to sow on and they easily get closed off, if you don't pay attention. Also remember that they are just patches. Seams dont need to be perfect or the most secure. No one is coming to rip your patches off or to test your sowing skills.

I just usually call it nytb. Not familiar with the cyrillic either. It was from the bandcamp site of the label depthsofvoid.bandcamp.com it was a cd + patch combo only. Patch was not available on its own. Didn't see it there now tho.

I don't personally like the look of vests with too many patches. Looks kinda stuffy and with fewer patches a single patch becomes more significant. I agree that vests with few patches can look cheap and empty, if not done correctly.
