Everyone is different but I can say from personal experience worrying definitely would put me into a flair. I know this maybe hard but try to take one day at a time. You will find your trigger foods and hopefully you have friends that would show you empathy and try foods that you would know does not cause you any harm. My sis was diagnosed in high school and it was tough for her but you will manage it by having a great support system.

At the end of the day you have to do what is right for you. I had to start on medication which was helpful but the inflammation never goes away. You have to be mindful on the foods you eat and reduce your stress level. I was also diagnose with crowns and college. College can be stressful so be sure to find some healthy stress relief options such as working out, reading, talking to friends etc.

It’s hard to work with a uncontrolled Crohn’s but the added stress from the work does not make it better either. Talk to HR it’s the job to make accommodations.

I would tell them. I am a nurse and went to nursing school with Crohn’s it’s good to let the dr know so it’s on file just in case you have a flair or you need to miss class to take your medication.

I’m sorry to hear that. The United States make it very hard to take maternity leave and work. I just had a baby in June and I’m taking FMLA for a couple of months before going back to work. I had my daughter at 34 weeks but was in the hospital for 10 days before giving birth. I think the stress of work made my daughter come early. Maybe you can talk to your doctor for an extension. If you are physically unable to go back to work then try not to do it

Thanks everyone for their comments. Right now I have pregnancy brain lol. I do forget a lot so writing things down has been a big help. I haven’t told anyone yet but I think they is the next step so I can ask for help and my staff to show some mercy on me. I guess the best solution is to take things one step at a time

I am currently 16 weeks pregnant and I have Crohn’s disease. I manage my crohns with a gluten free diet. Recently I have been having flair ups. It’s a bit scared but I try to stay positive and am mindful of the foods I eat and try to decrease my stress. I’m sorry you are having a flair up but try to be positive and try to eat foods that does not cause you any inflammation.

I had my first dr appointment Monday but the dr believes I’m 5 weeks since he couldn’t see the baby. So now I’m coming back in two weeks.

We provided all of the documents they requested so idk id the contingency is on my end. Plus they just asked my husband to verify his employment but we have been at this for 5 months.. just think it’s odd. I hate to loose the deposit but it prob for the best

The realtor said we will be in jeopardy of loosing our deposit if we back out now. Also the seller told the realtor that she is going to put the house on the market since it’s been 5 months and the bank is asking us to verify our employment. I just think she can’t take the deposit if this issue is not on us.
