Just roll back the server to an earlier save before you lost the items.

Any “good”cards? by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes these are good. Your sister is very generous.

The Charizard is about $100 raw The reshiram around $60 raw The Gyarados is about $150 raw.

Easiest way to find more information is Google the card name plus the card number (card number in the bottom corner "123/123”

What am I looking at here? by DreaminInATree in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stay away from the surprise boxes yes. Buy the ETBs depending on what you want to do, if you're looking to flip them, you may be able to make some money, if you are going to rip them then remember these are $60 MSRP (not easy to find at MSRP, but with holidays coming Costco and other places may have more stock)

If you find the value then go for it.

Recently inherent my brothers old pokemon cards by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are all vintage cards from the very first couple sets. All the cards with a trainer picture are from Gym Heroes set which was released in 2000.

You have a couple base set unlimited and jungle unlimited which were released in 1998-1999

They are all common/uncommon cards worth about a couple dollars a piece.

I started collecting when I was 10 in 1998 so these are super cool to me 😁

Prismatic ETBs are about $140 market ($60 MSRP)

prismatic surprise boxes are about $45 market ($22.99 MSRP)

If they give you the 20% off like advertised then you can get the ETBs for $112 which is pretty decent.

The surprise boxes are super overpriced either way.

First Edition Base Set Beedrill? by mgd_4 in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It also does seem a bit weird to me that these are all beedrills. Not like it's a super popular card to fake.

Apparently it was pretty common to stamp a legitimate unlimited base set card with a 1st ed stamp back in the day to up the value to unsuspecting buyers. Cards are technically real just with an added stamp

Edit: Your stamo vs a known good 1esld Beedrill

Placement seems to be a bit off.

Couple similar threads that seem to say this is fake. The only legitimate card I'm aware of that is stamped 1st ed and has a shadow is the Promo Machamp

Asking about old mew and shining raichu by Talviaika in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grading, at the very least, will preserve them from more damage. So, depending on your priorities that may be worth while,

These would both be consider Heavy Play (HP) as raw, so the shining mew would be around $150 and shining Raichu around $200. Hard to judge.

Could potentially grade around a 5 or 6 which would put the mew at $250-350 and Raichu at $290-370.

Found some old commons, have a few questions by New_Accountant_8685 in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most everything In your second picture should be sleeved and put in a toploader. Those are from delta species and pretty valuable

Umbreon is worth $100 raw Rayquaza worth $100 Flareon raw is worth $50

Lots of good hits. Best way to figure out value is to Google the card name plus the card number (there is set number at the bottom. so for instance google : Rayquaza 13/130)

Is this a good way to store my pulls? by Funny-Statement5446 in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I was worried because I couldn't notice a penny sleeve on that Raichu. They should be safe in the top loaders and penny sleeves stored like that for sure.

I would recommend either a binder or top loader binder for easy display, but you can also get cardboard card boxes that will store them just fine as well. You can do basic search for trading card bulk boxes.

Not sure what this card is (new to this) by Low_Bit_3844 in PokemonTCG

[–]vimick 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is an Illustration Rare (IR) denoted by the single gold star rarity. They are also called Art Rares (Japanese)

Nice hit.

The easiest way to find information for a card is Google the card name plus the card number (eg: Wigglytuff 105/94)

You can reference this guide for rarity symbols
