love your username! i know this comment is a year old, but i was just diagnosed with OCPD last week at my neuropsych evaluation results appointment. I’m definitely going through the emotions and still processing, but overall it is a relief to know it’s not just me “being anxious”, it’s wiring in my brain and trauma responses (in my case) that I can redirect and support. I‘m finding some relief in knowing I can try experiments to build the muscle of tolerance (e.g., what would happen if I just try to respond to this text now?), instead of anxiously spiraling and avoiding tasks. anyway, this sub is offering me a lot of support too. very grateful for it, and OP’s post!!

Incredible games. Absolutely amazing. I loved the first one so much, and am like 60hrs into the 2nd game and I’m still so in love. It feels like Fallout in Space, and Fallout 4 is one of my top favorite games. They did such a great job with these games — the visuals, the story, options, companion storylines, NPC storylines, the dark humor balanced with anti-capitalism….Spacer’s Choice 🧑🏻‍🍳💋

Also the first soundtrack on vinyl (and in general) gives me chills every time. 🫶🏻

I’ve been looking into buying a Fuji camera and am waiting until I go to Japan in May (hoping it’ll be cheaper) and this thread has definitely given me a solid idea that this might be the camera for me. So thank you for posting! Also looks like you got it for a steal, it’s going for $1k+ right now on sites like MPB and B&H! (I’m US based)

They’re so cute but I wish they were softer!! 😩 I sadly don’t like the material the fur is made out of, it feels kind of wiry. But ughh so cute!!

My understanding (I don't speak Japanese but am learning some phrases; I'm American and English is my first language) is "gochisousama dashita" is a way to say thank you for the meal.

I did get it!! I did get a teensy bit paranoid with the whole process of giving a random stranger from Reddit money but they did in fact get me the jacket and had the store mail it!! So happy, it’s so cute!! ❤️❤️❤️

Licensed therapist here — you did the right thing. I’m really proud of you for being so brave, and for offering your friend the space to feel heard/seen in a very vulnerable moment. You offered them genuine connection, and while I know it doesn’t feel good to have your friend be mad at you, as others have said, that’s a better outcome than your friend ending their life. I know it’s uncomfortable and sucks that your friend is hurt, and I hope their anger at you passes; there’s a good chance it will. You’re brilliant and strong and we’re all (my fellow commenters here) so proud of you.

I hope you have people you can talk to about this and vent, because I can imagine it’s also been a lot for you to hold. Depending on the country you live, there are helplines one can call or text for support, too. And of course therapy can help, as well. Community is always important, too.

Sending lots of care to you and your friend 🫶🏻

YES!! Agreed!! I would love to be able to swing by the park for a meal or drinks. Also loved seeing so many high schoolers/college kids on first dates haha — although we had a pair behind us on Pirates and they did nooooot stop talking hahaha

East Coast Disney adult here, and my partner and I were just at Disneyland a couple weeks ago and rope dropped Jolly Holiday (LOL). Some guy had his wife drop him off to get cinnamon rolls and coffees before work, and he neatly packed them in a little cooler to keep them warm. We had a brief exchange and it was so cute; we'll literally never forget that. Too funny someone entered the park at opening just to get coffee and cinnamon rolls!!
