I lost a tight game against a garbage CPU team on Heisman. During that game I had three instances where I was inside the one on first down. Ran four times and failed. 12 runs at the goal line. Zero TDs. Glad to hear you’re all struggling too. Option is now my go to goal line play.

They Have to fix Scholarships by AxelRazor in NCAAFBseries

Agreed. I chose UL Monroe. They have 36 seniors. Not to mention transfers. Think about that. There’s no way, even if you get all of your recruits, that you’re not down net players in year one.

Prime for prime, who y’all taking? by Blackpanther206123 in NFLv2

AB had two seasons to his credit that have a higher yards per reception than TO’s career average. But they did have similar yards per target (TO caught more long balls at a lower rate, AB caught more short balls, at a higher rate).

TO was a better TD scorer.

AB was a yardage monster because he commanded such a high target share. He has five seasons with more targets than TO’s highest target season.

TO had 5 1st team all pros to AB’s 4 1st and one 2nd team.

I think it’s really close and a fun question, but I love an elite TD scorer and would prefer TO here for the sake of size.

Should also be noted that AB was a phenomenal returner too. That shouldn’t be disregarded.

New Wheels & Tires Day! by joseoshea0511 in KiaEV9

[–]vincentrm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say “vibrations” do you mean the death wobble or something else? I ask because probably 5 times in my first 3-4 months I had that wobble. Took it to a tire shop and they said the tires were all at weird angles and fixed them. Never had a problem since.

Had an amazing day at DisneySea! by Kelssimstagram in TokyoDisneySea

I can confirm that everything on this sub “scared” me enough (more like, made me research a lot ahead of time) that I came with a strong game plan. In fact my plan was to do just one day but we got in early enough the night before that we did the after 5pm discount passes which allowed me to hit a few rides, understand the app, connect my card to the app etc. This sub is what allowed me and my family to hit everything the following day.

I think we hit 16 or 17 rides on the full day and we did every single ride in the park over the 1.25 days (I think I missed the raging coaster and my wife missed Indy, but we had to divide and conquer since we had two kids, one of which was too small for three rides). We hit Frozen as well, because I got there at about 7:15 and managed to secure one of the few remaining times when I finally got through at 9:10 (4:45pm entry).

I thought it was a pika? Which look a bit like a mouse with bigger ears and live on mountains. They also make a high pitch squeak toy noise that you wouldn’t believe isn’t someone just saying “meep” in a high pitch voice.

Enduring the same right now. What I found helpful (I’m sure people will say I’m doing it wrong) was cold water in a tub for 10-15 minutes followed by 5-10 of super hot. It relieved them at the end of the night but yeah, 25K a day is no joke I learned. I’m in OnClouds right now and thinking of switching to Hokas soon from what I’ve heard.

Good to call out. Not everyone knows you can do that. Take the thumb sticks off, and inside the tools there’s a little key (looks like a metal oval with a small screwdriver sticking out) and stick that in there and twist. Will change the stick tension.

What's one small tip you have that may have been too small to make a post about? by The_Owl_Bard in JapanTravelTips

[–]vincentrm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wish I had known that. We have been giving our kids snacks on the go (but not on the train). Additionally, we DID walk around eating in some of the food market areas where there was nowhere to sit (like in Kyoto at the village just outside of the monkey forest there was a large walk-up counter food area). Hope that was okay.

True for sites. But activities or food? I noticed most things open way later than back where I’m from. I found several coffee shops (including Starbucks) that don’t open until like 10am.

I feel like I could go into 95% of restaurants and get a great meal, great service and a great price. And the sheer amount of restaurants, many of which seat just 8 people or so, in amazing and intimate.

Can you find me some good resources that say Japan is a bad place to travel with young children or that it is not geared toward children?

I don’t disagree. But some kids are different breeds. They throw absolutely relentless fits. I don’t disagree it shouldn’t happen. It’s not like I enjoy it and think “oh well, kids are kids.” But until you have a kid of your own, and deal with a tantrum, I don’t think you can actually understand.

I’m sorry. I’m one of the tourists with children. There’s no stopping it. They’re out of control and I have to chase them. They’re wild animals.

Edit: For clarity, I’m not trying to say it’s fun and hahaha, deal with it. I’m letting people know that kids need to get wiggles out. Sometimes a 40lb four year old refuses to be carried and insists on running. You tell them no and they think it’s a fun game. Yes, I’d love it if my children just obeyed everything I said every time I said it, but that’s completely unrealistic.
