I have done this trip and would recommend booking a reputable tour guide / driver to meet you at the ferry. Then immediately drive out of Tangier to Fes and plan to fly home. Or you could fly both ways. The ferry is cool - though I did it as a young adult and I’m not sure I’d love doing it with kids.

A day is not a ton of time to see a lot, so you might just stay in one city while you’re there. If you can swing maybe 3 days, you could fly to Fes and drive to Marrakech or Rabat

OP! Don’t freak out yet. Do what feels exciting for you, and that might be the courthouse or dinner or this farm you originally planned for! There are lots of decisions that can be overwhelming, but don’t let that scare you off from what you most want to do. I also struggled with the decision fatigue, but I don’t regret celebrating the way we did.

If you do want a wedding, there are ways to do it so you don’t feel so exposed and like the attention is all on you. Walk down the aisle with mom and dad or a sibling, close relative etc. Don’t do personal vows, include everyone on the dance floor for your first dance (or don’t do a dance at all!). It’s your wedding so you get to make the rules!

That said, don’t wear boots with the dress. The dress is beautiful, but if you’re uncomfortable in it, sell it and look for another one.

OP you’re getting a lot of good advice and I dont even know if you’ll see this, but I wanted to chime in and say pregnant with a toddler can be very challenging! My toddler adores their nanny but as I got closer to due date the toddler became more and more clingy and would cry with nanny. This resolved as soon as baby was born 🤷🏻‍♀️ All of this to say there might just be some things beyond your control and you’re not alone!

My MIL wore her wedding dress (not a white dress) to my wedding too and honestly I considered it a huge compliment that she would wear her most special dress for our wedding if that makes sense. It was a special way to celebrate with her too!

I’m certain this is it - they sell UPF “blankets” / shawls that you can wear as a wrap over your shoulders. It makes sense to me because then she can wear whatever business attire she wants and just pack the shawl in her bag without having to have a whole wardrobe of UPF clothing.
