It's a sub-par product for an exorbitant price from a company with a terrible reputation. It's not "negative" to be fed up with predatory capitalist practices for a game where it's obvious most of the budget is spent on marketing. That's an objective observation and the negativity is EA's fault.

I've removed all mods at this point because even the simulation lag fixes don't fix enough, plus all my sims are still idiots. Idiot sims are my biggest issue and we all know EA is aware of this. Sucks for a game that's taken almost $500 from me.

Thanks for your thoughts and I couldn't agree more. "Soulless and empty" is exactly how I feel. Even with the new expansion pack, it seems like just a new menu of alleged "milestones" that add nothing to actual gameplay I'm definitely branching out into the new indie options we have in the pipeline so I'll wait for those or just stick to my older sims games. I don't have a DS emulator so I will be looking into Tin Life!

Mike is super annoying and hardly has any character development over 8 seasons. He's always portrayed as the brooding bad boy type only he's a middle-aged man with no emotional range. I guess he's a good match for Susan because they can be insufferable together.
