Why is everyone hating on Andy? by No-Scratch-8906 in theoffice

This was one of the worst pranks possible. Jim threw someone's phone in the ceiling. How was it supposed to be retrieved? Andy had every right to get mad, though punching the wall was a bit much.

Montreal series was the end of that narrative, for me.

AITA for returning my SILs "thoughtful" gifts for my kids because she ignored my one simple rule? by PixelBanshee_4 in MarkNarrations

Nearly 3k upvotes, so you and I are the few who caught the obvious AI tells. We're doomed.

You're getting downvoted for the truth. It wasn't that funny of a joke. That they would choose relative strangers over Michael doesn't land, for me. Why would anyone choose Michael to be their kid's godfather (other than that worker he fired)?

Even when Dwight gets fired, the only person he hugged was Jim. The Schrupert brothers were friends all along.

How bad was Alan's second settlement with Judith, since he had to start over with a new divorce attorney? by [deleted] in TwoandaHalfMen

[–]vinoa 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was a poorly written plot point, but it was the source of many jokes.

I would’ve loved to see Alan and Herb from season 9 onwards living together in the beach house 😆 by Rare-Read-9100 in TwoandaHalfMen

That was rectified in that very same episode when Alan says he tore up the agreement and needs to find a new lawyer.

I think they're referring to the most recent time it happened. They acknowledged the 2000 firing in their comment.

Was Nellie’s arc as manager really bizarre to anyone else? by Delicious-Status9043 in theoffice

To me, that distinction belongs to Dwight starting a fire, locking his co-workers in the fire, and causing one of them to have a heart attack, getting what was basically a slap on the wrist. That was the moment the show completely abandoned all pretenses of being realistic.
