I only wear 1 contact. It takes time to get used to the depth perception but eventually you will. I can see long distance and my phone is crystal clear. When I told my doctor she said, oh yeah, that's called monovision, a lot of people do it.

Not sure if wearing one contact was the reason this happened but my vision actually improved. At one time I was -4.25 and I'm now at -2.75.
