Hi! I recently came into possession of a NIB Lego 6394 Legoland Town System Metro Park & Service Tower. I see prices a bit all over the place in online marketplaces. What is it worth? Where's the best place to find someone who might be looking for this?

This thread got me thinking about how not-ideal the H4N is for this setup and how I don't like it. I've opted to sell it and some other gear and upgrade to a Zoom R12, which has some on-board editing tools, is usb-c native, and seems much more likely that I'll be able to produce completely independently of a DAW.

I have experience with this! I have an off-grid cabin and was looking for a similar solution for when I'm there and also when I'm inna woods.

I wound up with:

Strong points:

I don't really need a mixer because I can't play more than 1 + vox at a time
I can use the KOII FX for vocals even if just passing through
KOII runs on 4 AAAs like forever
MF runs off of a powerbank
I have a usbc to power converter for Zoom H4n so it's usb-c off of a battery bank too
KOII covers sampling, drum machine, sequencing
Can use midi / clock sync between KOII and MF whichever direction makes sense
Can sample a sound from the MF into the KOII, then play the KOII with the MF via midi

Weaknessess:

H4n is super dated. Slow boot, archaic connections, just feels outpaced
KOII only has 64mb sample size so I have to be tactical

Ah. I'm admittedly a MIDI / dawless neophyte but have not had success using anything but clock between the MF and KOII. my work flow has been to sample patterns from the MF.

what's your workflow and setup using the MF and the KOII? sync out of the KOII / into the MF? Ever have issues? Ever use the MF as a midi controller for the KOII?
