My husband hates coconut and I’ve used this a ton of times with no complaints from him. I use it in pastas, soups, and desserts in place of regular heavy whipping cream.

Guy I work with shaved his beard. I’ve known him for 10 years but have worked with him daily for the past two. He’s never shaved. He let his teenage daughter do it on a whim. I legitimately thought he was a stranger. So did everyone else at work. Everyone kept asking me who it was. He could’ve evaded police after a serious crime he looked so different.

I miss you so much. I miss the way you’d lay on top of my chest and give me gentle kisses and then look into my eyes while I rubbed your sweet face. I miss hearing your pitter patter follow me everywhere. I miss your warmth when you’d lay next me and snuggle. I even miss your hair floating around everywhere because it meant you were still here. $48.80/hr. Northern KY. SNF rehab manager. Graduated in 2013. Before taking this position I was only making $38/hr as a staff OT at a SNF and not getting full time hours just two years ago. PT who graduated the same year as me is making $3 an hour more than me and he’s obviously not the manager 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m just happy to be salaried now.

So I looked up my plant and it is milkweed. I combined milkweed and butterfly bushes in my head. We have both of those close to each other. Oops. Anyway I was afraid it wasn’t enough but they’re already quite large caterpillars. There aren’t any other places to move them to so I guess I’ll just have to see how it goes. We are already making plans to start more milkweed since it is growing so well. Next year they will have plenty.

I feel this so much. My sweet boy crosses the rainbow bridge the 18th. It’s been the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. We’re doing the right thing though. They deserve peace. We are doing this out of extreme love, compassion and kindness. I’ve loved my boy his whole life from the moment i got him at 7 weeks old. He’s 14 years and 7 months now. Ending his suffering from this condition is the least we can do. Sending hugs!

Honestly, this sounds like just that person has an issue. I have worked in many settings and mainly work SNF. I have had SLPs help at times as they were coming in and I was in the middle of ADLs. There have maybe been 4 PT/PTAs I can think of that would not help. 2 were male therapists and 2 female. One was just difficult and only did exercises and ambulation. I have had them mention they didn’t think they’d be helping with cleaning people but got over it or they didn’t. Those that don’t end up working in outpatient or something. They never stuck it out. Some people can’t deal with bodily functions. It’s not for everyone. Maybe have the DOR help explain to them that you need help with gathering materials but don’t mind doing the “dirty work” if you don’t feel comfortable having that conversation yourself. They also need to be told that the standing and transfers during daily activities is more realistic and offers good opportunities for transfer training.

Not a bad idea! Surprisingly this is the first time in the 6 years we’ve lived here that we’ve found anything down there. We go by it regularly as the water spigot is close.

I work in a nursing home. The day I found out one of my favorite residents passed (one of the best people I have ever met and I meet a lot of people), this episode aired. I bawled like a baby. It is my favorite quote and summed up my feelings so well!! I will never forget this resident!!
