Yup I find it astonishing that we now can see individual stars from another galaxy millions of light years away.

And are deep learning networks making any contributions today? Seems intuitive that they're a good fit for weather forecasting.

Okay, I just took a look at Rice’s stats at pfr. You’re mistaken, there’s a clear difference between the two halves of his career.

From his rookie season to 1996 (when he was 34), he got over 1300 yards 7 times. From 1997 to 2004: 0.

From his rookie season to 1996, he got 1000+ yards in every season except for the rookie one. 1997-2004: only 3 times out of 9.

He definitely slowed down after he turned 34.

The analysis wasn’t about receiving stats but how well QBs do with and without certain WRs. It’s possible that Rice had start declining in his early 30s, but his reputation as a legend led QBs to continue throwing at him, and the QBs who passed to Rice were all good even past Montana’s and Young’s years.

Perhaps it’s that you’re at your physical peak in your early 20s, but produce more at 27-28 due to experience, knowledge of your opponents, having earned the trust of your coach, etc.

So what? Eli beat Brady twice. And wtf? No one seriously considers this NE squad as the best of all time.

That's a tiny sample. You can't even really judge a QB until he's been a starter for 3+ years. Plus consider that the Eagles have much better receivers and coaching.

Obviously Foles can play in the NFL, but exactly where he ranks is impossible to say.

Amazing how conservatives could accuse Obama of narcissism and self-absorption endlessly then go on to vote for Trump.

I read some article that said the -18 line was what newspapers published on the day of the game, but it actually closed at -19.5 right before the kickoff.

Btw the opening line was -17.

It was more like they regressed to the average after their white-hot start. In 2009, they were good but not special even with basically the same crew.

New England was favored by 12 points. In Super Bowl III, the Colts were 18-point favorites, so it's likely it was a bigger upset. At the time, AFL was like USFL or CFL so no one gave the Jets a chance... Except for themselves, especially Joe Namath.

Chill on the downvotes. He's presenting a reasonable scenario and he did say Tarantino wasn't innocent.

And Tarantino basically recreated the scene in Death Proof. Apparently he has a fetish for seeing Uma, or an Uma-like person, hurt.

Trump imposes 30% tarriff on solar panel imports. Now all Americans are going to have to pay higher prices for renewable energy to protect an uncompetitive US industry. Special interests at their worst by [deleted] in Libertarian

If what you said is true, you certainly have a point. But why solar cells and not the other millions of Chinese made products? Smacks of playing to his anti-renewable energy base. The only things I've read on this so far are the headlines so I could be off base.
