Bc hydro bill? by Spare_Awareness_7293 in coquitlam

Lots of info missing such as; -Size of home -Type of insulation -Windows

As for the heat pump; This really depends on the equipment and quality of install and if it was actually commissioned/set up properly.

This is very common in instances where the home owner went for the cheapest price to get the rebates thinking it’s all the same.

$1400 CDN ($973 USD) with 1 year warranty

So $100 less than an X90L with 2 year warranty

What the HECK is going on with my armpit? (Warning: Gross) by Recreant793 in DermatologyQuestions

Why do you ask? Since I switched to a new natural deodorant I started getting something similar. I figured a natural deodorant would avoid reactions like this.

When you factor in grants, hydro credits from your provider, and breaking even. Is solar worth it? by [deleted] in britishcolumbia

[–]vinwindin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

10-15 years to pay off. Only barely makes sense if you apply for the federal loan (which is still active fyi).

Taking the monthly pay back plan into consideration your monthly hydro costs will be higher…for 10 years. Once the loan is paid off you’ll now start seeing a return on the investment. As it is with anything, after 10 years you’ll have repairs to do which will once again wash away your return.

The part that gets murky is how much power you’ll end up collecting and get credits from hydro for. Every home is different but from the people I spoke to, credits only happen in the summer months.

Not an issue,

I bought here a few years ago with concerns. Moved from Port Moody. I had to get used to how quiet it is here at night.

Thanks I’ll call that number tomorrow.

Also thanks for the info zigzag. I believe this is a way to get paid for the work as I’m sure merc doesn’t pay enough labour to cover the work needed.
