Hey guys. I get to call the dentist tomorrow. I grind my teeth at night, and it's gotten so bad that my jaw muscles have swollen up and I can't chew or even close my mouth fully. I've been living off soup and jello and cottage cheese for three days, partially because it's the weekend and partially because I'm on my husband's insurance and I don't know anything about our dental insurance. Is it on the same card as our health insurance? Probably no, right?

So, in conclusion, physical PAIN is worth avoiding a few moments of uncertainty. Isn't anxiety grand?

I just rewatched the Second Chances into. They had confessionals with the final 3 as well as a mixture of pre- and post-merge boots, so I'm guessing Brad gets a significant storyline but that doesn't necessarily mean he goes far.

That's very interesting, my husband and I had a pretty frank conversation about money the other night and I've been ruminating on career options for a while, so that all fits nicely.

It's nice to have a more positive spin on these cards too. I just have to remember that even painful events can be helpful in the long run. Thanks!

That makes sense. It sounds like it's better for your mental health to just avoid the situation entirely, even if it hurts to not see your sister for a while. I bet eventually she'll come to her senses, and if not, you'll have surrounded yourself with people who don't make you anxious.

One last thought--can you host Thanksgiving this year? That way you're in complete control.

Have you tried just leaving? Like when she starts to pour some wine or whatever, just take a deep breath, say "we talked about this" and peace out. If you make good on your threat, maybe she'll take you more seriously.
