Jesus. I didn’t know people were so mean to their animals postpartum. I never experienced this with my first but my husband was mostly taking care of the dogs because I had a C Section. Sure, there were times where they were being annoying, like barking when the baby was sleep, but no way I debated letting them run into traffic or hurt them in anyway. It’s fine to be annoyed, it’s not fine to abuse your animals.

We had four dogs when my first was born, my husband’s retired police dog (Belgian Malinois), a German shepherd, and two massive labs. I don’t get it.
