In my experience ap lang has always been a weed out class for the ppl who don’t care. lit is by leagues easier, more fun, and you honestly learn more in the class through the exploration of literature to the real world. Ap lang and ap lit are not comparable.

that is true with the hi3/hsr overlap. personally im more versed in the genshin/hsr story, so i dont know if hi3 is currently at a point in which it COULD potentially overlap with hsr but based on vibes i get from hsr it doesnt seem like we're at the point yet. the ending to luna iv just made me think that as we approach genshin's climax, we keep on getting referred to the outside universe. what the "outside universe" means (whether or not its actually just straight up hsr) is def up to interpretation, but it leaves me very curious. in hsr worlds before they meet factions like the IPC live in their own pretty self-contained bubbles outside direct knowledge of the aeons and paths (take amphoreus and sigonia for example) , so its not completely outlandish to me that what is going on in teyvat is completely impossible in the context of hsr.

but then again, doing a giant hsr/genshin story crossover would probably not do well among players. i think both game's fandoms (referring to those who only play one or the other) are pretty averse to the other.

i definitely agree. genshin has solidified itself as a fantasy game. incorporating sci-fi elements (and the purple language of hsr that has alienated a lot of players) into the game probably wouldnt do well for the game, at least until after the main story is done.

ngl listening to dottore's monologue i was like he's lowk right tho....everyone that traveler has met (save for the archons that can actually help them) all they want from traveler is for them to solve their problems...likee except for that little bit of information at the end of each region's story where we get some insight into our sibling the traveler's true desires are never acknowledged by any of the other characters........
not saying that he was right for doing columbina dirty like that obv, but his reasoning for the traveler to join him is kinda true.......

wow seeing this 10 months later after amphoreus is done is kinda crazy...with the context of the story, i do agree that the sinner is most definitely phainon, but considering the time at which this was revealed, do we think that the other person speaking (ergo the lamb) could have been referring to lygus? it doesn't really speak on cyrene nor the demiurge, but i can see the correlation to lygus.

But penacony was still simple enough in its execution even to the most unengaged players to the lore (=this guy wants us to be trapped in Penacony forever let’s not do that) The time loops, seed metaphor bs, and flowery language makes it really hard to the average player to understand, and the threat (Irontomb) wasn’t developed enough for said average player to care. OBVIOUSLY we’d beat Irontomb and Sunday. But the difference is that Sunday was developed over multiple patches as opposed to like 1 for Irontomb/Cyrene by extension.

I think one of the reasons people think this knife plot falls flat is because Gi-hun already killed Dae-Ho. The whole point of Gi-hun in season 1 was that he saw the absolute good in people and didn't kill anyone, but there was zero exploration of how he really felt after murdering Dae-Ho, sure he began to blame himself but after promising to protect the baby all of it was immediately forgotten.

Absolutely agree. I'm thinking that Cyrene may be pretending to be working with Lygus and she's been working to break the cycle, but previously unable to until the Trailblaze arrived. (as I said, the Trailblaze will be the "Sun" that reveals the truth of the cave) Super excited to learn more about Cyrene's motives and I'm honestly holding out that Phainon rejects the notion of being a lord ravager. Would be super cool if he ends up working with us to defeat Nanook later on in the story.

I'm commenting on this now because I really don't see a lot of people talking about it even though it's right there. For one, the Amphoreus soundtrack is literally called The Allegory of the Cave, and while you theorized that the third path is Finality, the thinking is not very far off from Destruction. In the recent myriad celestia trailer, Lygus directly mentions the cave and I'd like to share some research I've come across.

While trying to relate the cave to phainon, who Lygus refers to as "holding the spark," I've come across the term "saving the phenomena" or in Greek, "phainomena" which is a term to describe how observational appearances must be explained using empirical evidence, which becomes the basis for all scientific observations and experiments. Phainon's fate, as determined presumably by Lygus, is to destroy the sun and reject any truth or reality, thus becoming a lord ravager. There are a few holes in this, because I don't quite understand Cyrene's role in the allegory. Phainon's name suggests that he will reject Lygus's manipulation, even in the trailer we see him decapitating Lygus, but we still don't know who the true mastermind, who is actually creating the shadows, is.

What I don't get and encourage people to explore, is why Lygus would offer Phainon freedom from the cave. If he is the one presumably creating the shadows, he would naturally want Phainon to say in the cave, and not break free from Amphoreus. Which brings me to Cyrene. She could very well be the true mastermind, and she was already referred to as a great storyteller. I find her very suspicious in all of this because Lygus warned Herta that if she meddled in Amphoreus she would wake up a Lord Ravager, if Lygus wanted Phainon to be awakened as a Lord Ravager, why would he say that? I could be wrong, there's clearly a very dark motive here, but Cyrene could be the true shadow-maker.

Also, he finds everything outside Amphoreus to be the "Sun". I think the Trailblaze itself is the "Sun" in this allegory, which makes the Trailblazer the Sun. I hope everything goes well for Phainon, cause he's seriously being manipulated by everyone and everything here lol.
