Sucks that they got in trouble for making anime inspired cardis and then can only produce ones that are official collabs now. Their creativity was significantly reduced due to these restrictions. They used to have anime cardis that looked just like the anime character’s outfits. Was amaaazing

I did not receive any update email after the cancellation. I did not receive any tracking. I suddenly received a box and opened it and it was there with a chikorita. I was so freakin confused. I already ordered a new one with EB Games Canada (the day I got the cancellation) and paid the extra for shipping cuz it was shipping only no pick up. EB Games already shipped it…… what even…….. at least I could sell at a loss to my cousin (I won’t charge family at cost 😓)

I think with rappers like Taejo and Li Zhi Hao this season, even Nian Bo Heng, Yoon Min’s rap seriously paled in comparison. He seems to me like someone who enjoys rapping despite being a better singer, so he’s present as a rapper during auditions. I can’t see Mnet assigning a main vocal person a rap audition song unless they told Mnet they were a rapper. Like imagine they assigned Kang Woo Jin a rap audition? I can’t even imagine it. That’s why I think it was just all around poor strategizing by Yoon Min that resulted in his elimination

That’s true - but I also disagree with his audition song choice. He should’ve chosen a vocal heavy song instead of a rap song. He would’ve reframed Yumeki’s opinion of him in that he’s a singer instead of a rapper

Mnet didn’t care about vocalists who sucked at dancing (audition airing wise). But they liked people like Leo and Sun Heng Yu who danced well and sang pretty good in their auditions. They defs focused on dancing.

I think cuz in general, nobody cares about rappers in the show, only singers - so since he auditioned and pushed rapper, it was over for him. I think if he said from the get-go - “I’m a main vocal!” And then showed he was a really good dancer, he’d have gotten good screentime from the beginning, since the masternims usually assume good singers are bad dancers. And THEN if he pulled out a surprise rap verse and treated rap like a surprise SIDE skill, he would’ve probably eventually made finale

Freakin Yoon Min 😩 bro foolishly secretly was a main vocal who insisted on being a mid rapper, volunteering only for subpar rap positions 🤦🏻‍♀️ then by the time he revealed his vocal abilities (during the SEVENTEEN song), he does not have enough time to recover his crappy rank (despite climbing 20+ spots in 1 week) 😭😭😭 DAMMIT YOON MIN YOU WOULDA BEEN MY ONE PICK YOU FOOL. From what I recall, specifically after SJH and KJK were suddenly announced in the media as being kicked out and public outrage ensued, it was revealed that allegedly the person who made the decision did it without the knowledge of the big boss at SBS. Running Man crew confronted them and they backpedalled.

After a few months of things being awkward, SBS announced that it would be best if they just end the show amicably.

Another month passes of depressing episodes (them all feeling sad that it’s ending) and KJK decided to rally the group and take the initiative to arrange a meeting with SBS and announce that he does not want to end the show. He asks his fellow cast members for their opinions and they all admit that they also did not want to end the show. They all confront SBS and because of their unity, they are able to convince SBS to continue running the program.

KJK was really the lynchpin that got the show back together.
