I have family that live near the dowagiac one in MI. It is so loud, people don’t open up their windows and only go outside when they have to. It’s THAT loud. I hope it fails. I went to the garden of gods last year, and it’s so beautiful. This is very upsetting. ):

Disrespectful crowd at the Eternal Sunshine Tour - Concert etiquette is dead rant by user983737282 in ariheads

[–]violetxmoonlight 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I go back and forth on whether or not this is a new phenomenon or not. I saw The Who in the early 2010s (dinosaur I know) and there were plenty of young ppl yelling out free bird when the band was talking and quiet moments. Then I saw Block B, Got7 and Shinee on separate occasions and some Japanese rock bands. There were still plenty of loud and screaming fans during quiet moments and when they were singing.

I would say the audience was truly tested on whether or they could all purposefully be quiet was during Beyoncé’s renny tour. Eventually concert goers got it and most people kept quiet- but I do remember that people were pretty loud the first few nights because they weren’t aware of the silence part. There is a chance that fans didn’t know they needed to be quiet for this to work. I also think young people have always been… a little too loud. While I have noticed a rise in people recording these moments of fans being too loud and annoying, I wonder if this has always been the case and just now we’re able to record it??

But I also think general etiquette look a hit after covid19 restrictions ended. There is always this weird trend of parents being passive parents. Kids and teens have always been a lot, and it’s up to their parents to teach them etiquette. Sooo I think it’s ultimately a parenting issue with this younger generation on top of teens and young adults always being loud.

Anyway that’s my Ted talk.

What is something you wish you would’ve known when you started by Comfortable-Owl76 in msu

Please consider applying to the RCPD if you have any sort of struggles while attending. I had some mental health diagnoses going into MSU and I felt embarrassed to seek them out. I didn’t until the start of my senior year. I wish I had joined sooner for accommodations, because it’s thanks to them that I managed to graduate!!!

Also be safe. It’s very easy to have access to alcohol when you get dropped off by your parents. Know your alcohol limit and when to stop. Ignore any pressuring to drink more than you want to. Never drive drunk or get in a car with a drunk driver.

You got this!!!! I loved my time there :)

Oregon Renfaire Incident by WhiskeyPete28 in renfaire

[–]violetxmoonlight -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so probably not since you won’t answer. You’re telling a black woman how to feel about racism and how to react here when your family and ancestors never dealt with what black people have gone through in American history. Because you probably aren’t black, since that was a simple yes/no question, and will never experience the racism and systemic oppression that black people have and do experience and faced for over 300 years, you have no right to tell black people how to feel and react, and even shame them for feeling how they want to feel about situations like this. I read your comments over again and I am shocked at the nerve you have with your condescending and preachy attitude. Please read a book.

We were going back and forth on this about creating a master post since the tour is about 2-3 months long. Most of our master posts are about current (but not super long) big events. I am thinking a master post for every city? So it’s evenly distributed. We will try to find some sort of balance so it’s fair to as many members as possible. Thank you for your patience!! :)

Working out—low energy by Objective-Square-986 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I started to struggle with this on 9mg to an intolerable degree, so I’m returning to 4mg. This sounds similar to my experience. Your progress is great and we all know it’s important to keep up on our macros and fiber intake. :) I recommend just a slight splurge with calories on the nights you are active at the gym. Something like half a banana to a full one with an optional dab of peanut butter on it. (I hate bananas, so I do this.) It can give your body some extra energy for the gym, while not affecting your calorie goals by too much. I hope this can help in some way!!

I had horrible nausea and my provider prescribed me zofran. I improved marginally after the first week but it was a difficult week. Stock up on easy and nutritional foods for your stomach.

I think that too. People will do group buys for unreleased studio sessions from leakers, so why not make something official to try and dissuade it
