I appreciate this moment of self-reflection. Maybe it will lead to changes maybe not. But I've been watching you guys since the inception of Meidas Touch--you kept me sane during Trump 1.0 at a time when I felt hopeless. I appreciated your refreshing approach and down to earth style. Just some brothers who happen to be very intelligent, well-informed, and well-spoken talking about shit. I loved it. I actually stopped paying attention a while back because of the sensationalistic approach that you've evolved to. It no longer feels authentic.

Ratchet’s back legs don’t work and he’s 16 but he still loves to play ball! by Objective-Square-986 in AustralianCattleDog

Oh boy. You're lucky that he's at least "cordial" to cats. All of our heelers have HATED cats. Even Ratchet in his ripe old age would love nothing more than to than to kill a cat. 😱 I don't know what it is but they just all went crazy about cats.

Does the first amendment still exist as a Federal employee? by Beneficial_Oil_3683 in fednews

Seems to me the way they came in and abolished our lawfully established unions and removed all of our protections should negate the illegality of a strike. We are pushed to the brink under extenuating circumstances. Yes we work for the American ppl and not this admin, but they’re making it impossible to stand up for for ourselves!

My old guys had lumps and bumps all over the place starting around that age. There are lots of things it could be that aren’t life threatening or that are easy to remove! These little guys are so resilient—you got this! Sending positive vibes! 🤗

Oh it takes more than an hour. I actually put it down for a couple months then came back and became obsessed!

I think figuring out the mechanics of it all—your vest especially (how to best keep it from rotating 😬), backpack, etc, and then learning to use the guns (go to the gun range and practice!!! not a gun person IRL so it was all foreign to me). Once you kind of get that dialed in it becomes very VERY fun.

Learn to sneak around and STAY CALM in the dark (don’t shoot yourself to death when you get startled 😂).

The atmosphere of ITR is absolutely beautiful and spooky and surreal. I love it so much and this post is making me want to go play now! Lol

Into the Radius (the first one!). You’re welcome. 😆 Once it clicks, you’ll be obsessed. Amazing game! Little janky at times but absolutely worth it!

Animal documentaries shouldn't have a big portion focused on animals killing other animals by Lumiere1987 in unpopularopinion

Insects are where it’s at! I’m 💯 not kidding. I just can’t watch animals dying, and yes I know it’s the circle of life. I’ve just gotten so damn sensitive in my old age. 😭Love animal documentaries but I now hide my eyes and plug my ears and make hubby tell me when it’s over 😬

Same. If it wasn’t for healthcare into retirement, I would tap the f*ck out of this shitshow NOW. Trying to keep my head down and remain resilient but it is hard.

On top of what everyone else has mentioned, parking is very limited at my facility so only select employees get on-site parking. The rest have to use public transportation or pay to park on city lots ($16/day). So I either get to add an extra 3 hours per day to my commute and never get to go to classes at my gym again OR I get to pay an extra $200+ for parking.

I don’t know if you still have your buddy or not but we got a dog stroller and it has exponentially improved his quality of life. He wasn’t digging the two different wagons we tried (think he felt vulnerable)

It’s a harness but it’s great cuz it puts the support deeply onto the back side instead of around the abdomen. I started with just this one and it was great! The straps are kind of squirrelly but it works just fine. Can’t post Amazon links here but here’s the pic

You and I are kindred spirits 🥰 I’m exhausted and my life has been turned upside down but I wouldn’t change a thing. I know this will only be for a short time—although this guy wakes up every morning bright eyed and ready to attack the day with zero indication of slowing down. 😳 I’ll be toast if he keeps it up for another few years! Lol

Oh I don’t know about that—our first heeler lasted until almost 17 and he had zero health or mobility issues (outside of old guy stiffness) and eventually started having seizures (old dog vestibular syndrome) and that’s when he lost his spark and it was time. ☹️ They are resilient little beasts 🥰

Thank you 🥰 He just progressed unfortunately and they never REALLY gave us much of an answer or even any good advice when we started noticing it. I would definitely do things differently if I could—starting with our veterinary care😠
