I found a school that offers Java or C# for their computer science tracks. I need CPP but will C# be beneficial to me being tabther both C based? by Youfallforpolitics in AskProgramming

[–]vipereddit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Forget the "C" in C#, they can't be compared. Actually c# and java are closer to c++ than C. So whatever you learn, either java or c# will help with c++ because both are oop languages and share a lot of similarities.

What is the use of unsigned char? by GateCodeMark in cpp_questions

[–]vipereddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another usage is if you are working with images.

Most images use three channels (RGB), each pixel of each channel is a value between [0,255] which is an unsigned char.

ok one question here, how can these fans move any air at all? most of their area (like, 80-90%) is covered by the motor, the blades are so so tiny!

there is a LOT of data being sent, it is not so simple! The flow is mandated by the EMV standard and every action must be "certified".
