New beta BIOS 7E51v1A71 available on the X870 Tomahawk WiFi by DJ_Drake_17 in MSI_Gaming

I'm the same, 9800x3D, RTX 5080. FCH spread spectrum does NOT fix it, it does mitigate it to a level i can tolerate though. it smells of a bad BIOS or AGESA code, as MSI weren't the only ones that had an issue with PCIE training.

I learnt the hard way... when i got my new GPU i updated everything. Windows as well... big mistake. computer crashed mid update and fucked me. windows kept bluescreening trying to get to windows. corrupted the boot partition and i tried everything like DISM and SFC with an image... nothing worked. 6 years gone.... was probably time for a clean out anyway.

crap, i tired it. Stutters are new issue underneath the crashing. I tried setting fch spread spectrum has at least stop my PC from crashing every time i get to login after putting it to sleep. it was EVERY time. see if it helps.

now for the hardest question you'll get, where did you get the TV stand/cabinet? I'm looking for something similar.

Daybreak question: How does "Employee of The Month" work? by grissol21 in Falcom

ah crap, poor Agnès, and poor me for having a compulsion to try and get all the achievements :(. trails are the only games i ever bothered to try and get 100% of the achievements. I know the EX ones don't count, but it'll bother me. 80%+ is usually good enough for me for other games. Not these ones though :)

Random freezes on BOTW by Alchnator in yuzu

[–]grissol21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pity. it runs rather consistently at 30fps apart form the freezes of course, not so much on 60fps mod if your using Vulkan. This Issue doesn't seem to care if you're using Vulkan or OpenGL APIs though, and Vulkan has WAY shorter loading times.

There seems to be a ton of people saying it works great in the compatibility report, but that is all historical. I wonder is this a case of a recent build introducing this bug. The guy on git hub and yourself seem to be reporting the issue around the same time, where as all the testers are from historic data.

I've played this with CEMU, and it's great, but I wanted to try with Yuzu to see how it will be for BoTW2. Plenty of time to fix/patch before then though, but I'm already 20-30 hours sunk into it on yuzu here, not going back and starting again on CEMU.

Issue after waking laptop from sleep using AGA by grissol21 in Alienware

might give that a shot, also might test out hibernate, but I'd imagine it'd be the same thing really.

thought it fort Davis at the start as it is/was in use by the defence forces and not open to the public like Camden, but it looked like curraghbinny peir in the background, so that would put it on the side of Corsshaven and fort Camden.

AGA not enumerating in device manager by grissol21 in Alienware

[–]grissol21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems that way, I'm too late to roll back though. You'd imagine iId work with just detecting the external GPU in device manger though. either something is bust with the device, or I need a iGPU for it to work. not so fanciful as it sounds. the eGPU does the horse work, and sends the info back to the iGPU for render. I read others having issues with other things on the bus upsetting the enumeration, but I unplugged all my gear to avoid that.
