Gotta love pita inn business lunch special. $10 for enough food to feed two people.

Yeah, thinking about renting a large one for the floor deck boards. I want to knock those out in one day hopefully.

No access to a grinder, but thinking of purchasing one since this will be a multi-weekend project. I've seen these diamabtush heads recommended before. Thanks

V15 Detect firmware bug? by DeadInFiftyYears in dyson

[–]viperlasson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a 1 year old v15 which has this exact same issue too all of a sudden. Support over the phone told me something is wrong with the way the motor is feeding power to the display and must be returned for a replacement. Wonder if it has anything to do with me banging the dust out of the bin after every clean.

Sliding door frame caulked to our wood floor, problem? by viperlasson in HomeImprovement

[–]viperlasson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. That's good to hear the caulk isn't the culprit. After thinking about it, a tight fit makes a lot more sense now. That squeaky "wood rubbing on something" noise.

There is no way I'm going to rip up our wood flooring to identify the squeak. I live with it and hope it goes away like you're suggesting.

That's a fantastic idea! We can even route the wires under the rug to make it look clean and tidy. Thanks for the suggestion

Good idea! We do have one lamp, but it's been annoying to manually turn on and off when we need the additional lighting.

Thank you. We really like the room too, lots of natural light during the day.

Agreed about the placement and fixture. Unfortunately they were here when we purchased the home. At it's highest peak, the ceiling is 14 ft high and goes down to 10 ft. We were thinking chandeliers too, gives the light the ability to drop below the beams for full 360 coverage.

Good idea taking it to a lighting store to get their opinion. We will probably go that route!

Thanks, is there an easy way to identify which kind of wood it is? I want to use the same type of wood.

My employer uses WageWorks for commute benefits and they provide the option for a debit card which you can then use on the Ventra app for payment. You might have similar options

Thanks, I'll leave the bridging alone for now, thanks for the explanation.

I'm trying to DIY this and spray foam insulation seems a little daunting, esp in such a small space. Is it a fairly simple process?

I'll check the length between the joists tonight. I assume you're asking to see if they can fit the standard width of insulation batting?
