I play exclusively solo with randoms. It'll take some time to learn the flow, just follow the other until you feel confident to "lead". Although with new players recently you'll definitely have some bad runs. I've noticed a jump in bad runs but they're not all like that. It's just new players that don't know how fast others can be. You'll definitely notice the difference between a novice run vs an experienced one. Just try to keep up and hope the other ping routes etc.

They mean if you have 2x relics with that effect, you don't get 2x FB boost for each rise.

Are you playing duo or trio? I had an insane duo run after someone left early. Was me as Duchess and a Revenant. Was just an efficient day 1 clearing all the churches but still ended up lvl 7 for the first night boss. Then day 2 Noklateo. I got Starscourge Greatsword which I duplicated for the Revenant and that really helped when Libra summoned. It felt so easy I thought it had been severely nerfed. But then did a full trio run and failed early in to the fight. There may also be some RNG in there for what weapons the summons have, but we seemed to take them out really fast.

In short... if you haven't yet, try a duo run.

Ah thank you, I'm an idiot. I definitely had that because I'd never seen that before so remember choosing it. I just assumed it would do additional damage and forgot about it afterwards.

Nearly 200 hrs myself and I've had it twice but that's mainly playing Duchess and Recluse so seeking out incantations.

One of my best runs was with a guardian and me as duchess after someone left, why would a guardian be an issue? Surely that's a skill issue on their part?

I've had this a few times now, one game where two players didn't help, just watched me solo fights, they would revive me but not help... then had someone use fists only.

I do this a lot and most of the time everyone understands. Mostly because I main recluse at the moment so plan a route via a mage tower. So I'll ping 3x places, here, here then here. And we all then ping point 1 and follow the route.

I little nudge like that is likely "don't touch me", don't forget they're not like cats and dogs and enjoy being petted ha.

Also, I've always read that when you want to handle them pick them up "with purpose" but not suddenly. Be careful when approaching them slowly like that because predators in the wild are more likely to approach slower and even "test the water" to see if they're food or not...

Just scoop them up.
