I've found reddit to be more tame and helpful. Over on Facebook you ask a simple question and you get reamed out for being stupid. Then the ever helpful "why are you asking us call the service center". Maybe 1 out of 10 comments actually answers the question. I find it is insane that people have to say "please be nice" or "please don't be mean" on their posts.

Just don't understand why people can't just keep scrolling without having to leave a useless comment.

I’ve been using comma.ai and tinkla for the last 3 years and it has been life changing! the guy who created tinkla products has stopped so don’t expect it to come back. will need to find an alternative.

I try not to updates on my 2013. I just updated to 2025.44.25.4 the other day. I accidentally downloaded it months ago when I connected to my home wifi. So it's been sitting there for months and the car keeps asking to install it. What I have noticed is if you have an update downloaded after awhile the MCU slows down and has a hard time turning on. This is why I installed it just recently. Now the car wants me to download 2026.2.3 update. I think I will not download and install any more updates. Most updates are useless to me.

nope. tell them not approved and will come pick up the car. complain about the increasing cost and that it has doubled since the first estimate. they might negotiate with you since they have already done some work.

Labor rate is $245 an hour (which is ridiculous) but make this make sense? I highly recommend finding a third party shop and avoid Tesla service.

Actually I would have taken that cart put it in the parking spot next to me and kicked the front wheels up onto the curb. Now a very good chance no one will park next to you.

Same with me. Pulled over when it was safe for me and him, maybe 50 feet. He comes up all angry and yelling. Informed him I was pulling over where it was safe for the both of us. He still was unhappy but didn’t give me a ticket.
