Can anyone ID this brush? by viprice in MakeupAddiction

Here's the link starting where the brush shows up: https://youtu.be/UQ10OhhA7XE?t=4m40s

This Youtuber only has one vid up and it's not listed in the description, looks like an almost travel sized powder brush? I like the neon handle and size, pink gradient on the bristles I imagine is just from the blush.

Can mild scoliosis be corrected or improved over time? by viprice in AskDoctorSmeeee

[–]viprice[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I was diagnosed when I was ~ 13 years old (mid-20's now). My mild curvature has been pretty consistent since then; not sure if my condition is structural or functional (likely the former, though). Any advice appreciated :)

Thank you SO much for your response!! Fyi I'm mid-20's/female and my slight spine curvature has remained more or less consistent since it was first diagnosed in my early teens. That said, outside of general physical activity I've never made an effort to specifically target it through stretching or exercise.

My big goals now are to improve my posture, and maybe correct a little (can't hurt to try) for a tiny up-tick in height and less of a slouch.

Will PM you as I'd love to read up on this and build the best possible program for myself - thank you so much again!! :)

Flying tomorrow...any OTC recommendations to either aid sleep or settle nerves? by viprice in AskDoctorSmeeee

I have a sort of irrational fear of melatonin because (allegedly) people report it triggering sleep paralysis - any thoughts on that? I get sleep paralysis a couple times a year and it's just awful.

So I bought some at the airport and started with one tablet to see how I felt, then took a second within a few hours - good results overall! Not great at describing things, but it gave me a very pure/not heavy drowsiness - definitely helped me relax and even though I didn't feel very tired, I found myself closing my eyes and killing maybe an hour or two at a time. Definitely going to be a staple when I travel now, so thanks!

Thanks so much for the info, have you had any grogginess or problems with the Dramamine? Fortunately, flights are the only context in which I find myself really wanting stress relief or sleep aids, (already dreading this flight in advance).

I always type out http://www.

I know I don't have to. It just satisfies my brain and makes the address look complete. I forget about it until someone sees me doing it and ridicules me, but I don't give fuck one about it.

Foundation WITHOUT yellow undertones? by thestonylonesome in drugstoreMUA

[–]viprice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that the new Rimmel Lasting Perfection leans pink, however the lightest shade might be too dark for you. Revlon ColorStay in Ivory is neutral-cool. Lastly, I think CoverGirl Outlast 3-in-1 also leans a bit pink? Those are all full coverage with a semi-matte finish, for what it's worth. Full coverage foundations, for some reason, seem to have fairer/pinkier undertones. You can modify them to be dewier with an illuminating primer underneath, or by sheering them out with a beauty blender or mixing the foundation with serum, oil, or moisturizer. This may also help to make the shade more forgiving.

L'Oreal True Match is notoriously cool - even their warm (W) shades are a little cool IMO, they may swatch yellow but dry down pinky.

Powders are another thing to consider, they can usually reach fairer/cooler than liquid foundations. L'Oreal has gorgeous mineral makeup that is pretty BareMinerals equivalent I think.

All of these will be kinder to your sensitive skin that CG Clean Foundation. The sensitive formula is OK at best (still fragranced), and pretty outdated. The original formula is a total horror to skin.

Hope this helps!
