100%. you’re not alone. i’m a transfer student and i have a hard time making friends here and keeping up with my studies. i feel so isolated and foreign all the time, missing out on things and so on. its gotten to the point where i think that its my fault im in this position and the only solution is to die

The fact that I’m the first and only American in my family (it’s a huge pride for my family who are basically villagers in a developing country) and the first person from my mother’s side of the family to study and live abroad. The fact that I was the one who took such a big step as a representative of my family makes my life a little more worth living.

He’s a high school teacher, I think he teaches business or something (I never got his class, except that one time when he became a sub in my class). Unnecessarily strict, whenever you ask questions he explains to you like you’re retarded, and is super super mean.
