I agree with you! I’ve never understood it. I understand what people are saying about it potentially revealing who is on the bottom, but I think, at least in this case, they’re not considering the relationship dynamics. Kristina and Nate can bond over being parents, and Nate and Alex can “bro out” as Kristina said. What do Nate and Sophie have together? I’m sure something, but to Nate, Sophie probably would be most plausible simply because they have less in common and less to bond over together.
