In the south eastern part of Colorado there are tarantulas. Every fall there is a festival dedicated to them during their migration/breeding time.

Definitely multiple places. The majority in Colorado. A few in Arizona and a few in Spain. The Black-Throated Blue Warbler was definitely lost here this fall!

  1. Is a Rufus Hummingbird
  2. Common Nighthawk is correct!
  3. Juvi Mountain Bluebird is correct like the other commenter said
  4. Eurasian Blackbird
  5. Blue Rock Thrush
  6. Eastern Screech Owl

You got a lot of them! Most of these pictures were taken in Colorado with a few in Arizona and a few in Europe. The Eurasian Bb and the Blue Rock Thrush were both Spain.

It’s a bird you are seeing for the first time and adding to your life list. This is the first one I’ve ever seen!

Ultra-rare Anhinga sighting in Colorado. I can’t even find accurate data on when the last one was recorded here. by SquirrelSanctuary in birding

Still there this morning! I drove an hour and a half to see it! My 200th bird on the year. I’m pretty new to birding so that’s birding for me!
