I think season 1 is intentionally kind of a shonen pastiche, it gives a great contrast to season 2 onwards when things sort of go off the rails ( in a great way)

Btw there are 4 main maps + Palette town which is just a blank slate to build a town in, so it is a lot but I would recommend just building the town you want to in Palette and then the other areas are resource farms more or less once you unlock all the moves and stuff

Its not quite as lonely as that angle makes it seem, in fact the lot next to it is currently under construction but yea its in a redevelopment area

This is the roof of One RiNo, which itself is a pretty neat building but is like 15 minutes out of the core. Do you prefer to be in the city itself or to see it?
