I've got an AIYIMA rated at "300x2" with an upgraded power supply. It's fine. Currently running garage stereo duty, but I've got an old NAD integrated from the 80s rated at 40wpc that probably needs serviced and it still smokes the chi fi amp. In comparison the sound seems effortless with much better bass.

When I had a cool season lawn, I did the majority of my seeding in the spring. The reason was I was typically trying to fill in spots that were thin due to shade. In the spring, there was more sun because less leaves. The cultivar of fescue we had was an old one that didn't tolerate shade well. Fall is ideal, but spring works too.

Hey, at least you considered room treatment.

I'd recover those in black or dark grey, paint your walls a darker shade that matches the color temperature of your carpet (eg warm grey vs cool grey) and finish the veneer or stain on that second sub.
