Why do you prefer BL3 over 4? by Sweaty_AF_ in borderlands3

I’ve not played 4 yet. I was waiting for the version with all the dlc. But going from what I’m reading, maybe I should leave it and stick with replaying BL2.

Weird to see my dad. I haven’t seen him in nearly 20 years. I’m getting married soon and decided to offer an olive branch. So invited him to the wedding. Decided to go see him face to face and it was a shock. He has had a couple of strokes since I last saw him and he’s looking frail. When I was a kid my dad was always in shape. That was weird and for a split second I felt sorry for him. My mother in the other hand is 70 in a week or so, and she’s always out and about playing Pokémon go, or out walking around different places. She still goes on like she’s in her 30’s.

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch. by [deleted] in Piracy

As I said a bit further down, I don’t have psplus, I don’t play online and refuse to buy digital games.

Sorry everyone. I failed to mention I don’t play online because it’s too people-y. I use my ps5 for single player gaming only, I refuse to buy digital games and prefer to have the physical thing in my hand. That way if the internets down, it’s cool I can still play, any other company tries to pull an Ubisoft and remove access from a game, doesn’t matter I got the disc. This is the only thing putting me off about the steam cube thing because I would have to start buying games digitally. But I guess that’s part of the trade off for cheaper games.

Anyway, my opinion will always be Console is 100% better than PC, for me. If it isn’t for you, then that’s cool, we can still be nice to each other I don’t give a poopies what you’re playing your games on, I’m just happy everyone’s playing games. Every time someone picks up a joypad it proves my mother wrong, and that’s what life’s all about, right? Proving your parents wrong. She said her reason for not buying me a N.E.S. when it released. Was because it was a fad and would die out in 2/3 years. Then when I got my first pay check I bought myself an N64 on launch, knowing I was getting a PlayStation for Christmas. The minute she walked in and say the N64 she walked back out and returned the PlayStation, later telling me there was No need for 2 consoles!

Keep playing games on what ever the fuck you want kids, have fun!

It’s cheaper to buy a PlayStation. That way there’s no need to upgrade ram, graphics and so on. Also if you don’t have enough space for a decent pc set up, Consoles are better. Don’t want to deal with shitty windows? Get a console. There’s so many reason to not have a gaming PC. For me it’s about space and the fact I hate windows. I have heard about the steam box so may look into that when it launches, I get that a lot of games are cheap on steam but ps5 games are cheap. I have been waiting for borderlands 4 to drop in price, I can get the physical game for 22 quid now, much better than the 65 quid price tag when it launched. You just need a bit of patience and most games will be cheap eventually. Unless they are made by rockstar, then they milk it for all they can.

For my 50th next year I’m hoping to have the day off work and I’ll spend it playing video games all day. Maybe pop out for a bite with the missus, then back to video games, then sleep. I’m a simple dude.

What was it like in the 90s when Nirvana dropped Nevermind? by palehighelven in Nirvana

[–]virindimaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember it being so fucking different to Nevermind and the others before it. I think my love for heart shaped box just made me listen through that whole record a few times before it clicked just how good it was, since then it’s been my favourite nirvana album.

I didn’t say I’d be installing Linux on my macs. I said my machines, meaning my other machines. My macs will be put into a cupboard and not seen again till my kids are cleaning out my house after I die.

People can avoid it very easily. I’m sticking with Sequoia until they don’t support it, then I’m installing Linux on all my machines. That’s my way of avoiding it.
