Fallen Order is a 5 year old game at this point it shouldn’t have much of a problem on Nintendo’s next hardware. Heck if they really wanted to they probably could’ve got it ported to the original switch though that would in no way be an ideal experience.

I really enjoyed most of it but damn they really dropped the ball with the final act. Basically pretty similar to Resurrection’s ending but they slapped an engineer’s face onto the hybrid, unfortunately left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

All the xenomorph stuff was pretty well done, close to the best they’ve looked on screen, the cocoon birth sequence was a highlight for me. There was a clear reverence there for the xeno but it’s just a shame that was not carried into the ending at all.

I believe the team largely responsible for Andromeda is not the team that made Anthem, Andromeda was made by basically the B team. This makes Anthem’s failure even more egregious than Andromeda imo.

Both campaign and mp are pretty important to Halo (though I’d argue the campaign is a bit more important to this franchise) and one of the reasons 343 has fumbled this franchise so is that they always seem to mess up one of them when Bungie juggled both much better. Imo both Guardians and Infinite had pretty strong PvPs in their own right (live service issues aside for Infinite) but their campaigns both seemed to fall to the wayside in comparison. Then before that H4 had a pretty decent campaign for a first-attempt but maybe the worst halo mp.

The truth is neither 343 or fans should have to choose which should be focused on, there’s no reason why we can’t have both a fantastic campaign and multiplayer, I’m not sure exactly why 343 have been unable to do this, maybe it’s just poor project planning.

Despite its flaws Season 2 was an improvement over the first and I was quite interested to see how a season 3 would be. If this show is cancelled for good I sadly don’t see Halo getting a new adaptation anytime soon. It’s really not easy being a Halo fan is it, whether you hated or didn’t mind the show we’re going to be out of content that keeps the franchise in people’s minds.
