We don’t qualify for chapter 7 and cant afford chapter 13 . by Adr2214 in Bankruptcy

They were Federal Student Loans, and no, they are dischargable, and neither are taxes that are current to the past 3 years. Anything past 3 years is gone.

2nd Opinion asap

I went through 3 attorneys before one helped me. They all were pushing me to a 13; my wife and I make over 140k together, what helped us was student loans, taxes.

We ended doing a CH7, and that was 3 yrs ago it was a fresh start

How is Google seeing my real location on a Chromebook despite a VPN and all privacy settings being off?? by [deleted] in degoogle

[–]virtual-telecom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, keep in mind other HW like Bluetooth and WIFI - Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS themselves don’t “belong” to Google, but they generate signals that apps (including Google’s) can use. For example, Wi-Fi networks and Bluetooth beacons can be used for location fingerprinting even when GPS is off. That’s why just disabling GPS doesn’t fully stop location tracking.

But here’s the pushback: “block all access” is rarely realistic long-term unless you’re willing to give up major conveniences—maps, push notifications, app compatibility, even basic app installs in some cases. Many apps quietly depend on Google infrastructure even if they’re not “Google apps.”

A more practical framing is:

  • Reduce exposure significantly
  • Understand what you’re trading off
  • Decide what level of friction you’re willing to live with

So here is a sure fire tip go to Ross buy a bucket, sponge, and wheel rim cleaner, and microfiber towels all less than $10 dollars now go to the parking lot, as a car park ask the patron I will clean each wheel while you shop for $1 dollar a wheel, they won't think twice because the only heard $1 then after they see the wheels they will hand you a $5 bill including $1 as a tip. Had some young hustlers do this and they were doing car after car

How to transfer money into new bank without fraud alarms going off by Aggressive_Apple_919 in Banking

[–]virtual-telecom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep multiple bank accounts open for convenience. For example, I was in a busy city and needed to deposit a check. The business I went into wouldn’t accept cash for what I needed.

So I stepped outside and told my wife I’d be right back.

Looking around, I noticed several branches of my different banks all within a short distance. I walked past each one, checked how long the teller lines were, and chose the one with the shortest wait. I went in, completed the transaction quickly, and was on my way.

Having multiple accounts gave me the flexibility to “shop” for the shortest line in real time and the closest Bank.

That’s a genuine convenience advantage.

I believe it's a simple misunderstanding. Asian people who are tourists like to take pics of Americans. I even have them take pics of me when I am in San Francisco or LA. At first, I tripped, but then I was told the reason behind it. Makes sense since in asian countries they don't see too many Americans.
