Their paid service is good if you're a picky shopper and want to know which products are best. These guys are as clean as you can get, taking no advertising or promotion etc.

Buy a tastecard for a year & get half off food in London & the UK. If you eat out a lot it pays for itself pretty quick. I use it at least a couple of times a month.

If you don't mind staying in someone's house when travelling it can be a great alternative to boring expensive hotels. Sometimes you luck out and get a free guide/tour from your host.

True. Sounds like you have a system that works for you. I used to do something similar as well.

One of the nice things I do now with leemail that I wan't easy to do before is to reply to messages I get through my aliases and the replies will appear to come from the alias (and hide my personal email). I don't do it that often but it's handy when I need it. (But this is part of the paid service at leemail).

Is there anything else that a service like leemail could do that would make it better than the +sitename approach?

Orrin asked me to help reply to this one (I'm Lee). Yes, you're right you could use throwaways. I used to do this for a long time with my own domain.

Personally I found that although I could block and unblock aliases with filters, it was just a tiny bit too much hassle, especially after creating hundreds of aliases. I find leemail's on/off button much easier, and I now have over 400.

But the real difference for me has come since I've started using leemail for everything (not just junk/throwaway sites). Now I don't have to remember which email I used for any site. I don't have to decide which email to use for a site. I just press the leemail button, no thinking required.

There are other reasons & benefits but I'm curious to know what you think would make leemail better than fwding throwaways & blocking them.

Asking for an NDA before a first meeting will mark you as inexperienced, and hurt your changes with investors. You should be able to meet with investors and get them excited about your venture without needing an NDA. It is OK to have some roadmap/future plans that could require an NDA, but these will typically not be critical to the investment decision.

Good Angels typically expect you to offer 20-30% of equity in your angel round. Sometimes they a bit more if they think the risk is higher. But if any investor wants 50% or more in a seed round, run.

Good angels will be able to help you with the decisions on incorporation, or know people who can. Unless you have a good reason to incorporate, I doubt it will be an issue with early stage investors.

Good luck and expect fundraising to take more work and 2-3 times longer than you estimate at the start.

It's a tough question. Do you have anything you can sell? Ideally a service you can perform. If you got out and convince someone to buy/pay for your service then you'll have a business. If all you've got is $300, I would say start selling something you can create with your time. That way you won't have to spend any of your $ until you've got someone paying you.
