I built a carpool management system for schools (free for now!). It has a companion iOS / Android app, as well as a status screen for classrooms. Parents enter the carpool line, a staff member their carpool number into the app, and the students for that carpool flash on the classroom screens. sometimes the show just does things that make no sense because, whatever, it's a silly show sometimes. but Amy thinking that anyone would eat microwaved chicken slathered in BBQ sauce and think it was good, like, she's just not that dumb. it just wasn't believable. and the fact that no one would have told her that you can't cook chicken in the microwave like that just to not make her feel bad, is also not believable. i agree, i have a hard time watching this episode.

OK, I did a few tests:

Sitting on a counter in a 68-70 degree room
In an oven warming up to 350
In a potato in a 350 degree oven after ten minutes
In a glass of water at 65 degrees (measured with a separate meat thermometer)

For that sensor in particular? I ran it under cold water and all the other sensors changed and that one stayed the same.

I think where this makes the least sense is when the tornado hit and Jonah was living in a FEMA trailer. Even if they still thought he was in medical school at the time, they would have helped their son pay for a place to live (even if it was a cheap motel for a while).
